Just take the PID and enter it into pandoras box and put a min delay of 6500 and max of 8000 and then search. When you pick the ID/SID combo put it into wichu's program and make sure you actually get the spreads then RNG it. When you get to the part that says "I will see you later" then you push A at the second timer

heres what you really want, an id and sid that makes the number of 1's in each column even, starting from the left and ending at the line. (the id and sid have to be in binary though)

Wait a second, what does this mean?
 
So basically do I have to search all the ID/SID combos for Bold and Timd spreads and see if any of them match or am I missing something here?
 
you don't have to, because there isn't one, if you look at the 7th column, you'll find that you can't get an id/sid that makes both bold and timid shiny

the best you can hope for is to get near flawless, or play the game again, its your choice

After searching a bit more, I found a better spread for my Articuno, but I have a bit of a problem: the frame.

The frame is 20. It's low which is great, but it's the fact that it's an even number that's causing the problem. Because I have no roamers, I can't get to frame 19 without taking steps which I've never tried before, so again, I want to make sure I'm doing this right.

*currently saved in front of Oak to talk to him with 5 pokemon in party*
-get seed, check to make sure with coin flips
-flip journal with caught/defeated 7 times (14 frames)
-walk 128 steps in Oak's house (5 frames)
-talk to Oak

Is this correct?

EDIT: Also, questions about RNGing in SoulSilver.

-For the Enigma Stone event: Calling to advance the frame/verify the seed isn't on the same screen as the NPCs (while coin flipping to verify the seed in DPPt allows them to move), so if I save in front of the Lati in Pewter City, and open the Pokegear fast enough and talk to the Lati quick enough, can I potentially remove any inference from the NPCs, or do they still move while I call? >_>

-How much of a problem are Wandering NPCs in HGSS? You can't VS seeker them, so I can imagine that to be a problem...
 
oh, ok. I guess I'll play the game twice. That way I can get multiple stuffz and cool shinies. I really wanted to restart diamond for legends not neccesarily shiny.

EDIT: So If I Start a new game, catch a bunch of stuff and restart the game again but with the same ID, can I still NN my stuff?
 
ObviousEnd, in HGSS, everything freezes when the Pokegear is open. NPCs don't move at all, so basically you can avoid their interference by opening the Pokeear as fast as possible, calling, and then closing it and talking to Latias as fast as possible.
 
hello all, i am new in RNGing

I'm having a tough time hitting delays over 500
my calibrated delay is 488 at 13 seconds
i got my ID and SID figured out from the Shiny Gyarados at Lake of Rage
i can get the seeds when the delays are between 488 and 496 when trying to capture
but when i try to hatch shiny, when the seed is say like 534, i SR when the first timer hits Zero (pikatimer), and smash A until Lugia screams, then hit continue when the 2nd time hits Zero, I would miss the delay completly, i.e. using Elm to verify, i would use "search elm" for the sequence to find nearby Delays but it would tell me it cant find anything
I already did the following:
Kill Roamers, In Kanto, Showed Togepi Egg, Showed PkRs and talked to Elm

one thing in question though, I have never met Steven Stone, so I have never activated Latios to roam. Would this affect my seed finding?

another thing is, when the delay is like 700 something, im still suppose to keep smashing A until Lugia scream and just let it stay in the continue screen until the 2nd timer (pikatimer) hits Zero, right? if i'm doing this step wrong then everything would be off.

Please show me some guidance. Thanks.
 
+/- 10 delays definitely isn't enough. In my old SS file, I was always 24 delays late literally every time I RNGed, so I got used to adjusting PikaTimer by 24 delays before I even started whatever I was RNGing. The same thing happens on my current file, but it's by 18 instead.
I would change it to +/- 3 seconds and 99 delays, personally. That way you can pretty much always find the delay you hit.
 
Definitely. You were probably getting adjacents all this time, but you didn't know because your adjacents results were too narrow. I usually have to adjust Pikatimer by 50 either way the first time I try a seed--the adjacents are that far off. Sometimes I adjust as high as 80.

My guess would be to save one step in front of the circle you want, hit the seed, advance the frame to one before the target, and step into the circle

Or is there something else I need to do/should know? lol

edit: wait, are you not able to call elm from that spot? lol...
 
You can save right in the circle, in the centre. That's how I do it. You'll skip a lot of talking during the RNG if you save in the centre after Cynthia does all her yapping.

Yes, you can call Elm and Joey. You just can't use the Radio. Try to get your spread at the lowest frame you can.

nope you got it right, and you can make phone calls there, so Elm calls are still available for you to use.
 
wait, by save right in the centre do you mean in the centre of the stage? or in the individual dialga/palkia/giratina circle? because if you're already in the individual pokemon circle, wouldn't you have to step out then back in for the yes/no thing to come up?

edit, never mind, saw above post

No, you don't step out. You just save in the centre, do your frame advancements, get out of the Pokegear, and step on one of the coloured circle of your choice (the three that form a triangle). Cynthia will confirm that you want the pokemon corresponding to the chosen circle, you press yes and watch the show.

Edit: I have 8 Sinjoh Ruins babies and I did them all saved in the centre of the circle.
 
I'm going to attempt catching a flawless Jolly Larvitar, and I have a couple questions.
I need a synchronizer. Therefore, my spread doesn't actually show up on RNG Reporter. I'm going for frame 30 of seed a5140629, but it says frame 30 is some random nature/IVs that I don't want. I know if I use a synchronizer, I will hit the real spread, but how do I calculate the encounter slots for the frame I want if it doesn't show up on RNG Reporter?
Also, Sweet Scenting in caves advances at either 1 or 2, and stays the same every time, right?
 
Erm, Method K with that seed and a jolly synch nature selected does indeed give you your spread at frame 30 (31/31/31/0/31/31) on RNG Reporter?
 
Self-fail, for the billionth time. I didn't even know there was a place to put in a synch nature...

Edit: So apparently I can't even get a Larvitar/Pupitar on that seed. Lame.

Leeward, it should help you get close to your target. If you're off by one or two every time, just don't adjust it, you'll probably hit it within the next few tries.
 
thank you both, now I can trace my result back to adjacent seeds and make adjustment
although i still trying to zero into the proper delay using the "other delay" option
please tell me if im doing it right or not:
if my target delay is 543, i hit 540 the first time, then i put 540 in "other delay" and it gives me 3 for total change
the next time i get 542, should i put 542 into "other delay" and let total change become 4? it seems that the more i do the "other delay" i would be bouncing up and down, cant ever zero in

MAKE SURE YOUR ON METHOD 1!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: @Leeward: you should only update pika timer if your relatively far off. If you hit only like 6 or 8 off then you should prob update, but if you hit like 2 away, dont update or else you will have to SR and hit A at the EXACT same time as you did
 
Ugh, finally got the right seed, got to my needed frame for the Latias and... a Wandering NPC decides to move and I get the spread 1 frame after. ;_;

Don't suppose there's a way to prevent them from moving instantly other than "hope they don't"?
