we thought denchura was electric long before we saw him using the electric attack :) his name is electricity + tarantula! and i doubt they'd have him using an attack in a commercial that wasn't his actual type.

as for fireflies, don't take it too hard, but people do call them lightning bugs too XD do you think children care about all the scientific reasons their light isnt actually battery powered?

I know about his name, there's still the possibility of it not being Bug/Electric. As for the attack he uses, Wooguru and Hihidaruma use Superpower, yet they are not Fighting-type. There are many more examples as well. Ever chewed a Wint-O-Green Lifesaver in the dark? It glows, so does that mean it is electricity? I know kids don't care, but their logic isn't necessary for the designs. I'm just going to stop because Lanturn is based on an animal that uses bio-luminescence, and he's part Electric. lolz

If you lookat the loop of the body it get's very thin before it goes around and a lot thicker immediately after. Do you see what I'm saying? It's like someone forgot to color in the light green part of the body. If you don't see it tell me and i'll use photoshop to point it out.

Yep. This sprite is definitely a fake or altered.

That really doesn't prove anything. As much as I'd like it (and believe it) to be fake, its tail could simply be twisting. You could be seeing the top of the tail (where the green is) which is why it appears more thin, and the light green underbelly is on the opposite side of the viewer. Then it twists back to the left of its neck.

As much as I hate the evos and want them to be fake, I think the sprite was originally on another background. Perhaps the one who cropped it mistook the green for the previous BG?

Pokabu 2 is obviously fake.

Pokabu has a yellow spot between its eyes, right? Well, it totally disappears in Pokabu2 and 3's sprite! And its "tail ball" goes away also!

These tiny features are almost always retained, as seen in the totodile evolutionary line: Totodile's red spikes GROW, not disappear! Also, Torchic and chimchar retain their tufts of hair when they evolve into combusken and monferno. Even piplup keeps its dotted pattern on its stomach when it evolves.

Even if this was true, the way that it would have to twist would be impossible for any normal creature; and GF is fairly good at keeping things semi believable in this department. Besides, it just looks bad, as well. At least part of the belly would be visible if the tail turned in such a way, as well as it being considerably thicker if it was even possible at all. The sprite is fake.

However, that doesn't (Unfortunately) mean the evolution itself is fake, or that it will not be similar to this.

Yeah, i realise that too. It looks really really weird this days, with those fake images making us to believe that the pic is real. Plus, Game Freak would do a trailer about this pictures, or even put it up on their website. Just hope this is fake... Really.

At the end of the day, these starter sprites artwork jave had many mistakes:
-Tsutaja2's tail leaf dipping down when it shouldn't
-Tsutaja3's yellow collar disappearing in the art
-The point about Tsutaja3's light green as pointed about above
-Pokabu3's inconsistent eyelids and arm spikes
and others...

I really doubt GF would make THAT many mistakes in only 6 pieces of art, especially when their other art has virtually no mistakes in it. I am 90% certain these are fake and serebii will face a massive backlash on September 18th.

Another theory is that the leaked images are mock-ups of ingame sprites rather than official art. Which could explain artisticall flaws.
But I don't want to fuel discussion on this silly argument...

On another topic, here's to hoping that that animated Pokémon Sunday series gives some cool information.

I'm kinda disappointed that N isn't an antagonist. I was looking forward to him being this sort of passive aggressive, doing-it-for-the-better-good, self righteous type. That is until the very end, when he snaps, and shows himself to be mentally unbalanced, and dangerous.

But its cool, I'm just glad the story is getting a shake up. Team X/Y/Z wanting Pokemon X/Y/Z to bring about X/Y/Z should have ended with generation 3.

Melkor updated:
511: Yanappu.
512: Yanappu Evo, same design but bigger, with an Elvis forelock, more hair and arrogant pose. Also a pure Grass type.
513: Baoppu. Fire Type monkey. Orange body with a flame-style hair and tail. It has a sleepy face (Hiro says the monkey is red, I leave it at dark orange).
514: Baoppu Evo. Fire Type monkey. It is fatter than Grass one, and seems confused. Tail and hair have flames. Redorange color.

So, for sure the cat or/and the monkeys will be officially anounced soon, and if the cat have a tail with the shape showed in the fanart and if the fire monkey have sleepy face then all the other things he said is true...

Oh, and also put this shadow pokemon (just like the cat before that commercial of Pokemon Sunday):

That thing is so squared that can be Porygon`s pre-evo. But, pokexperto already said that there is no pre-evo or evolution for past gen pokemon... Also said that Tabunne does not have pre-evo or evolution, and theres 2 bug pokemon like Caterpie & Weedle in gen 1, one of them is Kurumiru and the other is a Bug/Poison pokemon, none of them evolves into a butterfly. There are fossils, one is a turtle and the other a bird.

Then what's the deal with Mamanbou? If Luvdisc doesn't evolve into it, what's the point with it?

And another thing is that an evolution line in Pokémon can't exceed 3 Pokémon in a row, so it can't be a Porygon pre-evolution.

If that silhouette is real, my guess would be that it is related to Gigaiasu based on its jagged-ness and the spike coming off the top. My two cents, but it could be anything really.

I really hope that fossil info isn't BS. We need more awesome fossils :)

So Wakoishi could be real then? Oh god, if that thing gets sturdy, going through caves will take forever...

No, it's definitely not Wakoishi (the guy that admitted he did it actually had proof).

I'm glad: Wakoishi looked like Tsunomon, from Digimon, covered in rocks.

Now I really want my japanese version of White. All these rumours I've seen and heard in this thread just makes me sick. I want to play the game for myself and see all of it. And I hope I can hold my own promise and don't look at any B/W coverage on any site before I get my game so the "Suprise Factor" is really high when I get my game. Only new Pokémon in the beginning of the game made me take that decision. To only spoil stuff that are pre-release. After the game is hitting the households around the world, there will be no more spoiling from my part until I have received my game! And that's probably 5-7 days or less after the games are leaked.
