It's not like the it's a booklet or anything, and that they are probably pictures from two different pages.

CoroCoro's leaks are similar, getting bits and pieces.

The guy who translated it said it was one whole thing and gave us a continuous translation. Its not possible, its a lie. :P

Ah son of a bitch your right. My bad.

Besides, they are now unlimited usage, and probably have quests or whatnot associated with them now.
That's a pretty cool idea. I mean, it's an RPG, there should be tons of miniquests, and TMs make for perfect treasure since it's actually something worth getting. If they are miniquests, I hope theres something in the range of 75 TMs. I feel that's a pretty good number when stacked with the probably dozens of other miniquests you'll have to have a very well-rounded adventure.

I also hope there are no more HMs. Just make more moves that are good in battles and have use out of battles (Dig, Softboiled, etc). Or, better yet, give Pokemon instincts. Water Pokemon or any with a good swimming ability (Snorlax, Dragonite) can surf and climb water falls, fighting/ground/rock/steel/big physically-based types break and move rocks, winged pokemon (flying or otherwise to include Flygon) fly, pokemon with sharp appendages (scyther, pinsir, farfetch'd) can cut, and pokemon with some relation to light (electric and fire types, illuminaters, etc) can flash. You can just base what instincts they have by there appearances, abilites and move pools, hence why Snorlax and Dragonite can do water-type things.

I just realized mijumaru's evolution (you know, the one we KNOW is real?) can dual-wield his shell-blades.

This may just convince me to watch the anime.

Don't get your hopes up. Ash owns Mijumaru, and knowing him, it won't have evolved until like 200 episodes in.

Although DP was a little better in getting his stuff to evolve.

Alot better actually. Turtwig -> Torterra, Chimchar -> Infernape, Starly -> Staraptor. Hell even Cyndaquil who didn't evolve for several seasons finally freakin' evolved. That's a big change from the first few seasons.

Hey, at least he's finally evolving them. In Johto, Cyndaquil took 500 episodes to evolve, for example, and Totodile hasn't yet.

However, it "only "took 130 episodes for him to evolve Chimchar in Sinnoh, but at least he evolved. And hey, he evolved into Infernape in only 30 episodes.

And then there's the fact that Best Wishes is going to be faster paced... (Oh goodness, if Mijumaru has the Water 'mon curse, that'd be heart-breaking.)

Charmeleon only took 2 episodes to evolve.

What happened to that kind of efficiency?

It would be. Ash might actually be redeemed in my eyes if he uses a badass samurai otter as his secondary tool besides Godchu in B/W.

Whoa now dude, did you see Ash's Infernape? Because of that thing, I respect Infernapes a bit more as a whole. Heck, all of Ash's Sinnoh team ('Cept Torterra and Buizel) had some awesome moments in the end.

Buizel started out ok, winning two gyms. But Torterra was poorly handled, which annoyed me.

Yeah, except that I can't think of a single win for Infernape that didn't involve the ungodly Blaze ability.

As far as TMs go, I really like the idea of having to do sidequests to get them, at least half of them. This idea has already been played with somewhat in RSE (New Mauville = Thunderbolt, Bring Harbor Mail = Rock Smash HM, etc), so I think it has potential.

Actually, you got the coin case for bringing the Harbor Mail :toast:

Either way, they were still quite fun and I'd love to see some in B/W... I don't think we had anything like that in 4th gen, did we?

Haha, Gible.

They finally give Ash a Dragon Pokemon... But he never uses it and it drifts into obscurity, never to evolve. He probably won't even bring it to Issu to rival Iris's Kibago.

I mean, just look at how anticlimactic the Sinnoh League was. Ash doesn't even bring his best Pokemon with him, just a bunch of his random shitty Pokemon, and then loses to a just-revealed filler character in one episode. That's why I'm not looking forward to Best Wishes at all. Because I know it'll be the same stupid crap. The Gen 4 anime was just too bad for words.

I didnt really expect him to win against legendaries, and i think he will bring it to Isshu it would be really dum if they just let him send it to oak like that. In my midn i see Gible and Kibago training draco meteor together if its really dragon.

Yes he did...? Gible was used against Shuckle, and then even in the curb-stomp battle. Really, I thought Gible was hilarious, despite having a brain the size of a walnut.

He did bring most of his best pokémon, just not the fan-favorites Charizard, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle, because... We KNOW they're awesome! Why not show off Noctowl, who's kinda bland, and give it some spotlight? Why not see Cyndaquil finally evolve?

And this time, as someone said previously, Ash DID defeat two legendaries. At this rate, he'll be in the finals against someone, and take down a whole party of legendaries one day.

Everyone got their ass wiped without taking down a single legend.

Ash could take on two.

It's all symbolic of Ash getting better.

True. I just wonder where the hell these guys are getting these legends from. Did he just call them up, or were they in pokeballs??

I really hope the water starter is bipedal and has a katana as the interview stated. It would be a nice change to have a starter with a weapon.

They were in pokeballs he had darkrai which he beast everyone with and ash beat after like 4 pokemon if i remember. Then the dude sent out Latios owned a pokemon then pikachu suicided. I am just truly wondering what his other 4 pokemon were.

I think you all are taking "katana" too literally. It's probably that it uses its shells like a katana and designed with that in mind.

I was actually very disappointed with Buizel and Torterra. They started off pretty good, (from what I remember), but they suddenly stopped getting better, while everyoe else did. And as for Ash not using Infernape and such against Takuto, they were exhausted from fighting Paul. Ash had limitted options.

You mean the Gible that defeated Conway almost single-handedly? Noctowl defeated Lickilicky, but in the end, it and Donphan got rolled over by Shuckle and Dusknoir. Gible came and beat them (with two awesome Draco Meteors).
