I'm calling bullshit. Apparently this is supposed to be Dark/Fighting:

We should all create a pact. That if PE or SB is wrong on all these "secret" info that they are giving us, we must never visit their site again. Seriously.

>_> I think it's really cute. Funky lizard with bags that are baggy as fuck ha. The Dark/Fighting isn't a legendary right?

After looking at it, it's not as bad as my insult made it out to be. It just looks so ridiculous, though. How many other Pokémon have a color that totally mis-matches their type?

If this was the first time you saw this guy
453Croagunk.png

or this guy
180px-307Meditite.png

Would you automatically think, "Wow, these guys must be fighting types!"
As for the dark typing, would you really think this
150px-274Nuzleaf.png

looks particularly more of a Dark type than something like this
180px-345Lileep.png

Personally, I don't think they have ever been all that great at giving pokemon types that perfectly suit them and those pokemon I listed don't even have much contreversey at all compared to others with a lot of contreversey surrounding their types. In conclusion, I think it is way too early to be calling bullshit on anything.

Would you automatically think, "Wow, these guys must be fighting types!" For Meditite, yes, but for Croagunk, honestly not. (Poison is much more obvious)

Yes, actually.

You're right on not being able to call bullshit on anything yet, though, since so many other 'rules' are being broken. But it's still really strange.

Croagunk and Medidite both are incredibly easy to spot as Fighting types, considering they both have very apparent features related to fighting.

From pokexperto:

>Zorua is #570 and Zoroark is #571.
>Shikijika is #585.
>#636 and #637 are Bug/Fire.

>About the Dragon/Ice legendary
Is based on a cold source as ice, instead of fire or electric. Actually, Watching it closely you can actually tell it is kinda grayish, dark gray. However, it have ice has parts like the head, wings and tail are blue.

>About the Dark/Dragon pseudolegendary
This is the V gen Dragonite/Garchomp/etc.
Is a three headed hydra, with black and blue tones. Starts with 1 head and when evolves get 2 heads, the final form have 3.

>About other Steel types
There are a pair of Bug/Steel pokemon (a spider and a bug with a knight armor), a Grass/Steel pokemon and a Steel/Dark pokemon (nicknamed "Power Ranger).

>About Poison types
There a 7 Poison pokemon in total
3 of them are #543/#544/#545 (Bug/Poison), a mushroom and his evo, and a pure Poison type and his evo.

>About the Grass/Steel pokemon
It looks like a metal ball with green spikes. When evolves tentacles come out.

>About the poison mushroom pokemon
The mushroom is Grass/Poison type

>About the Ice types
There are 7 Ice pokemon in total
The Dragon/Ice pokemon, a polar bear (2 stages), a 3 stage pokemon, and a single stage pokemon.

@ random rider
the first one is the water fighting legendary we heard about
the second one is the normal psychic legendary
the third one is the grass fighting legendary
but I have no idea what the last one is. maybe some kind of dark type pokemon

thats sarcasm btw, in case someone didn't pick up on that

Please explain to me what makes Croagunk look like more a fighting type than this new yellow guy. At least the yellow guy is making a fist.

LOL! Good stuff!

Croagunk has a mouthguard, bandages and black eyes. Maybe not fighting in th same vein as Hitmonchan, but he definitely looks like a scrapper.

Yellow guy, on the other hand, looks as if he's going to put his hands down his "pants" and show you his penis. As for type.. it doesn't even look like a pokemon. I know this is fan art.. but a 4 year old in paint could come up with something better.

First of all, I laughed pretty hard at that penis joke. Second of all, I'm pretty sure those are Croagunk's teeth, not a mouthguard. In any case, you have to admit that there's no way in hell you would think of Croagunk as more of a fighting type than Vigoroth if you didn't know any better, yet he is and Vigoroth is not. I basically just picked random pokemon there, there are much better examples. How the hell is Gyarados more of a flying type than Venomoth?

Croagunk resembles a dark blue bipedal frog, with a white band around its waist area and red and black markings on its hands and feet... The markings on its body make it look like a Muay Thai fighter, and its jutting teeth make it appear to be wearing a mouthguard. The black around its eyes and the white bands make it look like an injured fighter with black eyes and broken ribs.

Clearly, a Fighting-type. There's not a single feature I see on this new guy that makes him look like a Fighting-type.

EDIT: Vigoroth doesn't look like a Fighting-type. Just because something looks like it can go batshit crazy with its claws doesn't mean it is a Fighting-type.

This new guy is also bipedal and unlike Croagunk has arms that are making fists and he making a serious face like most fighters do before a fight. I have strong doubts about whether it is a pokemon at all, but it's typing doesn't really seem to strange to me considering previous pokemon having IMO unsuitable types.
