Possibly, but considering the illusion breaks after one hit, the fact your opponent will know it's an illusion if you've used your 2nd pokemon already and the fact it's BST is nothing really special, I kind of doubt it. I forgot to mention the fact your opponent will know it's an illusion if you use a move that the pokemon doesn't normally know.

Which will lead to certain moves, and certain pokemon. Which will then lead to certain counters, which will lead to bluffing, which will lead to wildcards...and...it will be insane.

You could use a Gengar as the illusion-base, but who the hell sticks Dark Pulse on a Gengar? And if use Shadow Ball, people are going to figure out it's too weak.

I think you all are a bit too in love with fighting samurais, honestly.
Well, you're right. And I also can't imagine what may be the inspiration of legendary fighters (maybe Musashi, Kojiro and Tadayoshi). Mexican luta libre masked wrestler would be cool too.

Hahaha I wish I had room to sig this.

Does anyone know if the exclusive pokemon are legendaries? That weird green lanturn thing and the tall dominoes lookin thing?

They're not legendaries. I don't even think they're counterparts like Vulpix and Growlithe, just version exclusives.

Want to know something that sucks some major ass?

I get to pre-ordering White, and after I walk out of the store, I think to myself "shit, I'm not even going to be here on the 18th!"
So I'll have it paid for and ready, just need to pick it up, but will be unable to until the 29th, sad fuckin day.
Was hoping to fill you all in on the new material Nintendo has decided to add in.

Guess I'll have to let someone else fill you in on the random pokes they decided to design this time.

* hopes for an even shittier Luvdisc *

What are the chances when you're born you have the natural ability (or potential in your genes) to run as fast as a professional marathon runner? It's not likely at all -less likely than a Pokemon with perfect IVs-, that's why the entire concept of IV's exist, to make it a little bit more real.

It's frustrating, because to remain competitive you almost certainly need near-perfect IV's to play against the better players, but I can completely understand why they're there and so hard to get good IVs.

This is actually true but then again that is where being a game comes in, they shouldn't make it THAT descriptive, but then again hard work is what differentiates the hard workers from the rest.

Awesome thanks because I wanna use the green one lol it looks cool

Jesus Christ I gotta get a lap top I go to edit my post and it always seems to find a way to make it double post. Goddang iPods.

Chuck Norris then?

Nope, they already did Chuck Norris as a fighting gym leader in Johto.

So, I'm really excited about Melkor being right in the end... The strangest thing is that he implies that the sunfish is NOT a Luvdisc evo, which would be kinda insane if you ask me.
Then again, I find it really interesting that LOTS of pokemon seem to get mutliple forms. What if they build a much greater mechanic of forms than we perceive now? That would obviously mean that old pokemon are to gain alternate forms, too. What if the sunfish is after all an alternate Luvdisc?

when will we get corocoro leaks? anyoen knows?

and were the starters evos confirmed? because mr.onionhead has adopted them as real...

Masuda already confirmed there will be no evos this time around. I just don't know if it was in Iwata Asks or the Pokémon Peer (Pia) interview.

Let's see...CoroCoro releases as normal on the 15th. So accounting for the one-day difference between US & Japan...ehhhh let's say early leaks on Sunday (maybe small scraps on Saturday), fuller scans on Monday, higher quality Tuesday/Wednesday

It's so hard to keep track of what is true now. Was the green monkey and his evo (Yannapu, I believe?) confirmed, or just rumoured? I don't care what Serebii has to say about, I want to know if it's been proven at all.

Yanappu, the Pokemon we've seen as a toy, and then shown on Pokemon Sunday, and then in the anime, and then through official screenshots, is true and I have no idea how you missed him.

Strictly speaking, his supposed evo has yet to be confirmed.
