I Am The Shinxe, koo koo (pi)kachu!

Yeah it's too flat uuugh but I have to do more line drawings from other crazy angles. Then worry about shading, oh boy

As for Ustream I have no clue-- I haven't had much of any free times between commissions and working with others to set up the entire design studio floor at school. I'll post if/when I'm able to do it, might start doing it randomly this coming week for whoever's around; scheduling a date doesn't really work for me at this point.

I've been really busy with commissions and getting started back at school. I'm waiting for Issue #11 of the Smog to get posted so I can showcase the art I did for it. 81

Until then, here's a personal piece I've been doing on the side. Hopefully I can do the Monthly Art Contest though!

(This piece is based on a character I made after this mask I bought: http://qarrezel.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2tpgki )

Sorry for lack of Pokemon art! JUST WAIT TILL I GET PKMN BLACK. 8D

Man that's awesome! You obviously know how and when to alter outline thickness in your lineart... that's something I've always struggled like crazy with. :P

Also, Kittiara? I'm pretty sure I've heard that username before. Weren't you the one who did that guest comic on the webcomic Jack?

Actually I had to stop myself from putting too much line weight in this, since I'm mimicking a certain style that relies primarily on color and has a generally similar lineweight all around. I've never gone this detailed with armor, though!

8V!! I uh, yes. Yes, that was me. My usual Internet nickname is Kittiara.

Shinxe! We never got the opportunity to do that live stream of your painting process, do you think we could still do that sometime? I am really interested in the way you paint and would love to see how you work! How is it that you get those awesome lines? I would love to be able to create those awesomely perfect lines!

Your drawings are ecstacy on a plate and they make me cry with joy.

But seriously, that Giratina is just ridiculously amazing. how do you get this good how

A new artist what now-- OH. Oh. Oh my. 8I *glee* Thank you!

And thanks Mofo, Aerrow, Alchemator as well! Gonna do another illustration for #12 of the Smog so I hope that comes out pretty neat.

Wow... I love ALL of this.. I have an art thread here at smogon, and I'm new to digital.. But wow.. I wish I could possess your talent!!

What won me over in the Giratina-O picture is the detail that you put into the metallic parts. Its quality is borderline perfection. How long did it take you to create it, may I ask? All of your work is amazing, and I look forward to future art by you!

Thanks you guys!

BBB: uhhh I'm not too sure how long it took. I guess anywhere from 5-10 hours, split up over a few days. Got the bulk of it done in 2 days, went on vacay, came back and finished... yeah.

SHINXE! JESUS. Your art is absolutely insane. That Spiritomb is so well done that I had an orgasm upon reading The Smog. I also love the little gold things on Giratina, flawlessly done.

I am the Blissey, You are the Blissey, I am the Walrein! Koo koo Pickachu for sure :D

Havak, Muffinhead: Thank you both so much!

I wish I had more to post in response for your totally morale-boosting words, but as it is I may just post schoolwork... still, I'd rather keep this mostly Pokemon. At least I'll be doing something else for the upcoming Smog.

Aaannnndd here's one that was due today.

Remember kids: no matter how much stuff you have due, NEVER leave a picture for the day before it's due. This got good critique in class, so I'll be refining it... but still, I thought it'd be fun to post.

Assignment: Self-portrait representing the theme of 'Duality'. This is like 13x18... I thiiink. Acrylic on loose cheap canvas. Don't use that either.
