Ha, let's hope it's informative! I can type answers to questions in the chat-- I believe my laptop has a mic but it's the sissiest POS ever.

Going to aim to *start* streaming at around noon-2pm Monday. SEO, like I said, private message me if there's a time you won't be around, since you requested it!

I will refine the sketch of the following image, and the broadcast will concern my laying down a better value study and beginning to color/paint it.

Cayr: Good guess, she does look a lot like Lynn in my prelim. sketch! It's a book character, actually. I'll post the updated sketch here before I stream, since the broadcast will be more about coloring/values than drawing.

May do it tonight, but it's more likely I'll arrange a new time later this week.
 
I have more work to do than I thought to get my apartment in livable-order. I will try to stream tomorrow or Wednesday, and will post here in advance!

Okay so no streaming this week. Why? The polite answer is I'm busy. The impolite one is that I ain't gonna draw for an audience when I'm cramping like it's going out of style.

SO. Here's some stuff I've been up to.

First, my Monthly Art Contest entry (draw the Dragon's Den from HG/SS)...

...and then a sneak peak at one of the many new Pokemon I'm drawing for fun. Gonna do them in batches of 6, randomized, and try to split all the Pokemon with my friend. We may or may not ever finish all of 'em but it's fun 'till we get bored.

Beached water Pokemon were not uncommon, but the simple wonder of a Gyarados this massive washing up with wounds along its length like great, monstrous bites, caused a buzz of excitement and anxiety in the small coastal town.
 
Your art is awesome, I really don't know how you can get water to look like water and sunbeams to look like sunbeams. My sunbeams look like lasers. THAT DRAGON DEN PAINTING IS AMAZING you captured each pokemon's "personality" yet the scene is absolutely perfect. I would love to do that ustream thing to see how you make these. No pressure, if you drew a circle then that would be more than enough for me n_____n

muffin: haha, you're way too kind, thanks!! I swear to ass I'll Ustream next week, this one was just full of "Shinxe moving into her apartment" goodness. I'll be sure to set up a time when I get back from Provincetown this weekend.

So before I go off to the Cape, here's what I've been workin' on today. It's not Pokemon, sadly, but oh well...

I commissioned a rad-tacular mask from this artist and soon will get a full costume to go with it. SO I designed a body to match the components I have already.

All I have to post is a face-study I did. Reference used for the angle/placement of the features, but all the features' shapes and etc etc I made up.

Trying to improve. Was just going to be a line sketch so I could move on to other practices but this is a character of mine I hadn't drawn for a while. HIS NAME IS VANCE. He's kind of a creepy creepo.

Hey, that looks really good, Shinxe, I've never been really good at drawing faces, but you seem really good at it, 'cept the part leading up to his cheek looks his face look a little flat (unless his face is actually shaped that way?).

Which reminds me, when's the whole Ustream thing going on, if at all?
