How do I get Outrage onto my Sceptile in HeartGold? On Serebii it is listed as a move tutor attack, but I don't know which move tutors/what criteria I need in order to get the move.
 
I have two questions...

First:
So I'm a little confused, and I'm hoping maybe someone can help me out.

I've been busy all week, so I haven't been on Pokemon Online since Monday. I was laddering with my NU Sandstorm team, and all was good.

I tried to sign on today, but it's telling me the same team that was fine for NU on Monday is now UU because Regirock isn't legal in NU? I checked the Smogon tier lists, and it definitely still says it's NU.

So basically, can someone explain wtf happened between now and Monday? >_<

I asked before but nobody answered.

And second:

I'm playing Rain Dance in UU with mixed results. I keep getting fucked by Toxic Milotic though. I'm running Electrode/Kabutops/Gorebyss/Ludicolo/Uxie/Lanturn. Any idea on someone I should drop so I beat Milotic easier, or whatever?

Regarding your second question you could try Qwilifish.
 
OK, so I know the Enigma berry's effect says that it heals a pokemon by 25% when hit by a super-effective move, but how exactly does this work? Does it work kind of like Water Absorb where no damage is done and the berry heals the pokemon instead, or does the move hit and THEN the berry heals 25%?

The latter, so the Pokemon has to first survive the attack for the berry to activate. If it doesn't, it will just faint.
 
Let's say there's two pokemon at level 50 with a base 100 stat. Said stat has 252 EVs invested, and both pokes have a nature that boosts this stat. Now, one poke has an IV of 0 for the stat, and the other has 31. How much of a difference in the stats will there be?
 
If I want to find the highest possible stats for a pokemon at any level, what is the formula. For example, if I am SRing for a good Kyogre in sapphire (just an example), but its at level 45 (i think), how do I calculate what its stats would be with a hasty nature and 31 ivs all around?
 
try RNGing (there is a guide in the in game section on site) or asking for a flawless ditto in the SQSA thread in the wifi area. There are quite a few floating around.
 
Hi guys this i s my first time here and I'm not sure if im posting this in the right area but i have a quick question.

I'm on a Mac osx 10.4 tiger computer and i was wondering if the RNG reporter 8.31 would work here? I used a dell inspiron laptop and it worked perfectly fine but i was wondering if i could use this computer. Everything was good to go but everytime i tried downloading the second part of the steps, (the mac supplement) for the rng reporter, it just gave me this attachment that would open in notepad and say i was not logged in? any help guys? thanks in advance! btw i used this link if it helps

31*50/100*1.1 = ~18

What does the notepad message say, word for word. You also might want to try in the wifi forum, where more people RNG and there is a dedicated RNG help thread.
 
I think curse would have the non-ghost effect, because the coding would be something like:

If (type==ghost) {
curse()
}

Else {
Def++
Att++
}

So ??? would return False. Similarly, I would imagine Arceus would get STAB, although all of that is just speculation. It is probably something for the research thread.
 
i know you're not supposed to ask this, but whenever i open the smogon damage calculator it crashes my computer...could someone tell me how much def EV's are needed for a timid heatran to survive a 350 attack and life orbed close combat from an arcanine?
 
Why wouldn't you be allowed to ask that? Anyhow here's another good damage calculator; you have to do a bit more legwork since it wants raw stats but it's completely accurate.

With 156 def EVs, you survive Close Combat with 1%. This isn't factoring in entry hazards; even with max Def (and no HP), you can't guarantee surviving with SR or spikes.
 
Not quite sure if this question belongs here BUT:

When will Entei have Flare Blitz, Extremespeed and Howl added to PokeLab etc?
 
It will probably be when they become widely available and confirmed, meaning after the movie has come out and people have started to download them.

Useable? I know this is just a worse Darkrai, but I wanted to use Mew as a NP sweeper and this seemed like the best bet. Any suggestions?
 
Is stealth rock Heatran a good lead?

How well does Heatran do as a Lead in OU? I'm talking about the Shucka berry variant. With Explosion.
 
Above question: It's pretty good. It won't get OHKOed by anything and can get rocks up against every non-Taunt lead. Fire Blast will really hurt Taunters, too.

Question: Is there a program for writing warstories from Pokemon Lab? It seems that Warmachine doesn't work and manual takes forever with the sprites.
