Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

That's normal, it usually takes a while for it to find the IV spreads you want. :)

Just a question. Now I got the seed and spread I want. I have a target frame of 5. Does that mean I only have to make 4 frame advancements before I get my egg from the Day Care Man?? (I'm on SS btw)

Does the position of the Day Care Man affect frame advancements? For example, he faces south while I talk to him from his right side.

I have RNG'd(CP's and BP's) quiet a few times but i still gotta few questions.

1) How does the synchronizer affect your method J pokemon ?? How can you abuse it ?
2) I'm getting my HG cart in a few days time. Can someone point me to a guide about hg-ss RNG ? If there's no guide, please could someone direct me to a thread containing information about verifying the seed and advancing the RNG and the differences in RNG in Pt and Hg ?

To the best of my knowledge, it doesn't matter which way he's facing.

Whew. @.@ That got me scared for a minute because I just hit my target delay :D

Anyway, I got the Gastly I wanted Shiny with good IV', etc etc.
I want to verify her IV's and went to the Judge in Battle Tower for it. Here are the results.

HP - Can't be better
Def - Can't be better
Sp. Atk - Can't be better
Sp. Def - Can't be better
Spe - Can't be better

Anyone mind telling me why the Judge doesn't tell me anything about attack stat? Is it because she is Timid?

He only says things about its highest stat(s). If he says nothing about atk, that means it's not a high as the rest of them.
That'll give you an iv spread of 31/x/31/31/31/31

Thanks, man. I was just a bit curious over her equivalent IV's. Also, wouldn't my assumptions be wrong just because I used the Judge and based the results on some page on bulbapedia that tells the equivalent IV's what the Judge is saying?

Nah. The judge works. That's how I verify my ivs.

I think that answers your question. Not sure what you mean by equivalent ivs though.

What I meant was this...
Highest IV Range Rather Decent 0 to 15 Very Good 16 to 25 Fantastic 26 to 30 Can't Be Better 31 Saw this on bulbapedia.

Oh, yeah. That's fine. Those are accurate and the first thing he tells you is the overall power. It should have a listing of those meanings as well.

I'm planning to RNG Giratina-O in SoulSilver next. However I was unable to find any good Spreads using PokeRNG. Anyone got a good Seed for Naive Hidden Power Fire 70?

@Miku, there's a link to JavaRNG and PokeRNG on the first page of the thread. You can use those to find yourself a good seed for whatever criteria you need.

I believe the best one is something like 29/31/30/30/31/30 HP Fire 69...I caught one it's in my thread if you want to verify the IVs.

Ah... OK, I've found my problem! It's not that my frames are not advancing. When I search Adjacent Results, the frame I hit is always the same as the minimum frame I put in.

Why is this? Should I just ignore it and try to hit my seed?

When RNG'ing you first worry about hitting your seed, than hitting your frame. As if you hit your frame on a wrong seed, you just wasted time that could have been spent on getting the right seed.

Pick a spread:

Go to the shaym.in app for IV checking, and retrieve your seed. If you make everything exactly like the image, you will get the same results. You can tweak the ranges if you wish for more optimized IV distribution.

Hover over the "Delay" to get the session seed (your target seed).

Ignore the "Seed" that is displayed, it is the seed in which the Pokemon will appear on frame 1 for Method 1, which is only hittable for a few spreads.

I'm trying to RNG capture a wild pokemon using Method K. The seed is plugged in to the main RNG Reporter window and all the spreads are listed. I've got it filtered out for only modest, hex flawless pokemon with a modest synchronizer to be included.

Question: How come I only see Ability 0 for the spreads?

The odds of getting a hex flawless ability 1 modest (even with sychronizer) is somewhere around 1 in 4.3 billion. I'm guessing that has something to do with it. Haven't really looked for myself though.
