Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

@Terakahn: The nature/ability/shininess is generated when you put the parents in the day care. the IVs are calculated when you pick up the egg from the old man.

@Kudan, stationary legends are Method K in HGSS, so yes, Zapdos is Method K.
 
Do I have to do the steps to rng abuse Rayquaza after I enter the cave or is it okay for me to save in front of Rayquaza before I start the RNG abuse?

Save in front of rayquaza. Then rng.

Steps
Save in front of the pkmn
Hit and verify you seed
Do the correct number of advancement
Battle and capture the pkmn
 
Im on route 37 and ive hit my seed. im tring to rng capture while surfing but i need to know how ill catch the right pokemon, in this case a magikarp. could anyone give me a quick answer?

If youve caught something on the grass its the same. Sweet scenting advance 2 or 3 frames(someone correct me if im wrong) Catch something random first to check how many frames it advances. If its 3 and you have a target frame of 50 then you would advance to frame 47 then sweet scent. Thats about it except hitting the delay.

what about the encounter slots, are those important?
 
If you want a pokemon while surfing your going to have to use sweet scent while on the water. Sweet scent pokemon on water advance the frame by three so you would advance the frame up to three before your target frame and then you sweet scent while in the water.

If your fishing is the same as above but the frame will advance by four, you may or may not get a nibble, and you can fish on land or on water.

What Methods should I use with these? And is their Monster Frame 1 as well?

A) Manaphy Egg from Ranger

B) In-game trade Pokemon in HG/SS (such as Jasmine's Steelix).
 
B) All in game trades are method 1 pokes. And just save in front of the person who gives it to you, and RNG from there.

A) I'm sure that was answered a few posts ago.

Once your done with all that, trade the egg into game Y and it should hatch shiny. The sprite will appear non-shiny when it hatches but when you check the Summary page, it will show shiny Manaphy.

I'm finishing up my pearl game and getting ready to RNG. I don't really know Sinnoh all that well so does anybody know where to find lvl 50+ wild pokemon (besides stationary legendaries preferably)
 
@Terakahn: Put the parents in the Daycare first, then wait till the old man have the egg. Save in front of the old man before getting the egg, and hatch the egg. If you got the nature or ability that you want, turn off your DS to start RNGing for IVs; If you got the nature and ability that you don't want, repeat the process above by getting another egg from the old man, save, and hatch until you got the nature and ability that you want. For the shininess though, someone here will explain to you that instead. Thanks! :)

Not sure exactly what you're looking for.. the egg IVs are generated in time finder under the egg IVs tab.
The nature etc. Is under the shiny egg tab.
 
I've been completely out of wifi since summer (since I left the states and lost access to wifi). I still don't have wifi, but want to breed my own BW pokes (as I saw there are some RNG abuses in the DMP thread).

Has RNG Report been updated for BW? Where should I look for info?? (If you would send me some links via VM I will love you forever!!)
