Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

Can someone point me to a guide on abusing my ID/SID in HG SS? Specifically, I just need to know at what point in the opening sequence the seed is generated, so I know when to press "A" to hit my delay.

Thanks in advance!

It's generated just before you fade to black, and your character does the shrinking animation.

The last thing he says is:
"I'll see you later!" in the English version.

So it's as you Press A to get rid of this line.
Good luck :)

EDIT:
How do you RNG Munchlax Trees? I can do the bit to get a Munchlax to appear at the tree. I then wait 6 hours, and check the tree, shakey shakey, and there it is. I then Reset, change the date and time so I can hit my desired Seed, and abra kadabra, the tree's stopped shaking when I get back into the game. I've now done this 3 times.

Do I need to slather honey on the tree, and do the reset for the IVs all on the same Seed (i.e. just leave the game on for 6 hours), 'cause that seems a little overkill...

Doesn't the tree stop shaking after so much time has elapsed? I've never RNGed a munchlax before... but if I were running into this problem, I would aim for a seed that falls six hours after I slather the tree with honey.

So guys, I've hit my seed verified through elm calls (working for IV's) and I hit them right off the bat (i.e.: the elm responses tab shows EKKE and when I call it starts right at the beginning so I didn't think anything could've advanced, turns out 2 frames advanced both times so I guess I'll just make two less calls and see if that workds?

Okay firstly, do you have any roamers? That will definitely advance your frame.
Also, there is one NPC that does advance the RNG if you aren't quick enough to combat his turning.

So you have this for elm responses: PPEKKE as starting calls, and you are aiming for frame 12.
Since PP is skipped you would call EKKE and be at frame 6 so you'd then call 3 more times and pick the egg up.

My question:

I'm attempting to ID/SID abuse on a Korean HG (Rom, using Desmume), but I can't seem to find where the memory is stored for the initial seed. I looked at the one Kazo gave in his videos, but that seems to be for the English version. I was wondering if anyone knew where the initial seed for the Korean HG is by any chance?

From my experience, it's the act of changing the clock time that makes the tree stop shaking (unless the tree stops shaking at around 3 minutes after it starts... :/
In which case, if I aimed for a seed that fell 6 hours later, I'd only have a single attempt to hit it, since if I then changed the clock back it would stop the tree shaking.

Has anyone here ever done Honey Tree RNGs? Would be nice to know how someone else did it when they got it to work.

Thanks! Got my Id/Sid... Now I'll be able to get shiny adamant 31/31/30/27/30/31 and timid 30/3/30/31/31/31 legendaries. Woo hoo!

Im trying to find the delay im hitting with seed finder. I triple checked everything and evertime I put something in it always say check the date and time. What am I doing wrong?

This happens to me a lot. What i do is keep redo the RNg steps until i get one that doesnt say that

Do Spanish HG/SS have different RNG's? I wouldn't think so, but I just want to check before I go through shit for shiny Ho-Oh. :/

I don't think it'll be any different if you're using a cart, or a Rom on an R4. ^_^

@Iron-Man.
I can't tell you what you're doing wrong if you don't tell me what you're doing >.<

It's not different for a Japanese version game, except for language of course, so I don't think it would be different for any language, at least not if it's run on an actual DS (ROM or retail).

Is the Turnback Cave (the area where Giratina is) a wild pokémon area? Because I was trying to hit frame 2, then I saved the game 1 step away from it, not in front of it. Then I hit my seed, and walked 1 step. Then I captured it but what I got was the frame 1 pokemon, not the frame 2 that I was trying to hit.

You probably did it wrong. Tell me everthing you did.

I did do it wrong D: I only cleared my SID. Either way, when I cleared/entered different ID/SID, I couldn't find many matching roamer routes, or elm calls when trying to hit my seed. Maybe 1 in 10 tries I found a match. Anyway, I followed Riski's guide for non-shiny eggs and I got it now.
Thanks!

finally rng'd a stationary legendary on HG/SS..

Im thinking of going for raikou/entei, does the javarng help to find some decent spreads, and how am i supposed to figure out if i hit my seed when all i can do inside the E4 room is radio-advancing?

Also, do wild pokemon in the grass work out the same as getting the stationary legends? if yes, is there a difference, since i know that random encounters work like you battle different pokemon at one location. So does that prove that swarm pokemon are easier to rng than non-swarming ones?

Are you sure EVERYTHING is correct?
Month, day, year, hour, minute, second, Pokemon, nature, IV's/stats, and characteristic?
Is the Pokemon level 50 or higher? If searching by stats.
Im 100% positive. Some have been level 48 (which do work). Others were 50+ (still didnt work).
EDIT: By "(which do work)" I mean usable.

Did you remember the military time? You know, how 15=3pm, 1=1am, etc? I forgot about this when I started to learn how to RNG abuse.
EDIT: Yeah, that's it. I was unfamiliar with it since none of my friends ever uses that.
