I would recommended reading the little blurb about seed verification. There's several methods you can use to confirm that you've hit your seed, including checking the routes of roamers, calling Elm, or calling Juggler Irwin.
 
I am trying to do my first CP and my question is on this list (210 North) what is the difference between the encounter slots for grass and daytime? I wish to hit encounter slot 2 for a swablu or do I have to find another spread with the encounter slot 0?

It appears that Swablu is more common during the daytime. I'd only use Slot 2 if I was hitting my seed during the day. Slot 0 is a pretty common slot, so that's a good bet to avoid the hassle.

There isn't any difference in RNG abuse for breeding pre-E4. Only thing that changes is how you would verify the seed.

Post-E4, you use Elm's responses, while you use Juggler Irwin's responses pre-E4.
 
I am now beating the E4 in order to get those 3 roamers back into my HG, but when will those be generated?

So basically what you do. Is only kill the one you're attempting to RNG.
So for instance say we're going to RNG a Raikou.

You're going to save 1 step before Lance (1 step away from when it takes you to him). Than you verify your seed by roamers and advance using the radio method.

Since Raikou is the only roamer to be spawned he will have a frame of 1.

So if you want a frame of 130, you'd advance to 129. Than do the 1 step, beat Lance.

Find Raikou check if it has the correct info. If it does. Good job. If not, you're gonna have to turn the DS off. Re-find Raikou and kill him. Than do it all over again.

Or, if you wanted an easier way is to use the AR code "rebattle Entei and Raikou" by re-spawning them, than RNG 1 step from letting them loose. If you want more info on that just VM me.
 
Clarity check here:

For Wondercard abuse in DPPt, due to the roaming NPCs, I need to journal flip to the desired frame, grab the 'mon, then verify seed? Or is there another way to verify the seed pre-journal flips that effectively pauses the NPCs, a la radio in HGSS?
 
Sorry. I am struggling to find out what frame the Jirachi I am collecting is on (am literally loading up the game and collecting straight away. Am in Cerulean City Pokemart and have no Pokemon following me as the only pokemon in my party is Dialga!)

What am I doing wrong?

RNG in fuchsia as there are no npc

1. Are there any roaming pokemon (entei lati@s or raikou)? If so there are advancing your frame

2. Are you verify your seed before you try to rng jirachi? (via calling elm/or irwin as describe on first page)?

*Note Wondercard pokemon should be generated under the wondercard method. If you generate it under method 1 you must do 2 addition advances
 
I have it figured all out now dude, I was producing the IVs under Method 1, and nothing was coming up, the minute I changed it to Wondercard IVs, it showed me what I was looking for :)

I understand everything else with it :)
 
This is for my first CP. A hit my seed and was aiming for a frame of 636. I flipped the journal 317 times and then used sweet scent. The frame that I hit was 736, a hundred above what I was aiming for. Any help?

Were there any NPCs on that route? Did you account for roamers? Although roamers only advance it by a few frames, that's enough to make you miss your target.
 
Npc are advancing your frames by alot
You will have to calibrate how much the npc advance your frames by using vs seeker and quickly advancing your frame capture the pokemon and then see what frame you landed on and make notes how much the npc advance your frame
 
I am on route 210 (north), there are no roaming pokemon released at the moment. There is one NPC who is moving, should I make the journal come up automatically and advance the frame blind then check the seed to reduce the impact of him or is there another way?

I have been trying to RNG a Heracross on one of my Munchlax Honey Trees (route 208). I rebattled all of the NPCs etc and saved in front of the tree. I hit this seed: 54060279. I proceeded to walk 128 steps with 5 pokes to bring my frame up to 5, and then put honey on the tree to advance it to frame 6. I saved and waited 6 hours, nothing came up. I've checked at 6, 7, 8, 9, 14, 22, 31 hours, and just now. No pokemon has appeared.

but the tree message is still "The bark is slathered with Honey... Slather the bark with Honey?"

wtf is going on @_@ I'm pretty sure a Pokemon shouldve popped up between 6 and 9 hours, and the honey expires at 24 hours (real time, not changing DS time). if anyone could tell me why this is happening i will stop banging my head against wood.

Im trying to rng a wild shiny ditto, Im saved on route 35 on my bike on HG. Ive hit my seed and delay three times already and advanced the frame but the wrong pokemon appears. Im using method K Is that right?

Method K is correct. Did you check the encounter slot?
