So, i'm trying to hit frame 1200 in Emerald to test if I'm doing it right. When I was RNGing Emerald for a Smeargle spread, I got:

I've downloaded the Emerald Method 2 .csv file, but since there are so many numbers, I can't find which frame I hit, and therefore I can't find out how early I need to use Sweet Scent. I might have gone too low or too high so I want to know how I can find specific spreads more easily in Microsoft Excel.

You can filter columns in Excel. Just Google a tutorial for the version you have.

While that is true, the second timer is the one that is important to get the correct delay so this will screw that up a bit. Your best bet is probably to use shaym.in to find an alternate path to that same seed.
No I'm using PikaTimer. I've finally found the delay/sec that I hit, and it is 2 sec too early and 20 delays too high. Last time I asked, I was like 1 sec too early. The answer was, that I had to add half a second to the first timer. Do I have to add one whole second to the first timer now, to land on the sec that I need?
Oh and, I used the calibrated sec 20 in stead of 14 now.
I have a question regarding the Shiny Egg finder on Rng reporter. I have used this feature about 4 times and each time have failed to get the shiny egg. I start on the coin flip app and use it exactly 10 times to check my delay and sec. Then I switch straight to the happiness app and do that. Then I go back to the coin flip app to finish off the remaining coin flips. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
The only difference is how you advance/verify the seed. If you're familiar with HGSS RNG at all, you'll already know how to do that. Cerulean has a mart with no NPCs, so it's actually easier.
Hello, I have a problem with Diamond. I can't change the parity of my delays with dual-slot mode anymore. I need to hit 629, but the delays are always even, regardless of whether I have my Pokemon Emerald in or not. It troubles me, because this method worked for me before. I successfuly swaped my delays with Emerald numerous times when I needed it, but now it stopped working. My seed is 860F0280, date 2011-03-24 15:48:14. Also, the console does detect the game. I see it on the main DS screen, and when entering continue screen the "MIGRATE FROM EMERALD" option is present. What could be wrong?
I've been seeing this a lot lately. It happens I guess. Just twitch your year to 2010 and your delay to 630. It'll be the same seed.
Well, I'm trying to get perfect Wondercard Entei so I'd rather change it to 2012, because 2010 is before the event, so it would seem hacked. But it's last resort for me. I know RNG is legit, but I like my Pokemon to look as much "normal" as possible. I also noticed that occasionally I get odd delays when they're supposed to be even. Like 1 in 30 tries. It's a bummer this odd/even delay matter is not well understood yet.
And 2012 is after the event lol.
I don't have to exchange my Wondercard for Pokemon right away. If there aren't any events in between, then it will seem plausible

I am trying to RNG the Crown Suicune on my platinum...i hit my seconds and my delay OK but the iv's didn't match.
Here is the spread i am using:
PID: d720c9de (CALM, ability 0) 31/3/31/30/31/23 (Seed: 59020272 Method 1: 19, J (synch): 4, J (no synch): 16, K (synch): 2, K (no synch): None) HP ELECTRIC 70
I assume it's my frame that i got wrong... the frame is 19 i subtract 1 cause it's a wonder card pokemon so it goes 18..i have no roamers...is this the problem wrong frame? i used the journal and i flipped 9 times on a page where i cathced a pokemon

Youngster Joey, 2 frames each time you call him, and if youre date is on monday, you're screwed. Walking 128 steps with X number of Pokémon in your team will increase the frame with X.
ummmm, Kiebin. I think buckert is talking about when he's trying to rng abuse the ho-oh and the lugia on HG/SS
In that case, advance the frames before climbing the ladder to Ho-Oh/entering the cave where Lugia is in, and then go there, keep in mind that you could hit the 128-step threshold, which means the frames may advance while walking towards the legendary, if it does, restart and keep in mind how many you were off.
If it's Wonder Card, you don't subtract 1, but you add 2. So you need to hit frame 21. Since you have no roamers you start at frame 1. So you should flip 10 times. If you still don't get perfect IV's, check these IV's and deduce which frame you hit. Then adjust accordingly.
He subtracted 1 because the man in green advances the frame by 1 when you talk with him. The moving NPCs in the mart probably screwed up his results.
