yes..im using sync abra female timid..its work on shiny mewtwo before..

can u tell me waht his frame and where to save..? im save in front of it and 1st time i call elm 24 times ( target frame 25 ) 2nd time i call elm 10 times then call joey 7 times ( on saturday ) but not work too...
 
HGSS Question:

Confirmed: calling the Youngster Joey on your phone (when he isn't seeking a rematch) advances the RNG by 2.

So, if he is seeking for rematch, how much RNG advanced? 0,1, or inconsistent?

Inconsistent. Just don't call him on mondays or beat the raticate out of him and then proceed to rng.
 
I've got a quick RNG frames question..
I've read that npc movements within a pokemart advance your frame by 1 if you are RNG'ing for wondercards. What count's as an 'npc movement'? Do they actually have to move one space in a direction, or does turning count?

I'm trying to hit frame 132, so I've been using 65 journal flips, but that only gets me to frame 131 :/ and I don't have any wanderer's up.

Turning counts, they advance by 2 I think, at least in HGSS they do. I'm unsure about DPPt.

I think what he is trying to say is that his frame is at 132 so you subtract 1 then you get 131 and then you have to do 65.5 Flips which is not possible so now what do you do(I need the answer to this question also)
 
if you are quick enough to open the menu and to close it and talk to the deliveryman before a npc moves, you don't need to calculate how much it advances the frame. it's not hard to do.

edit: ninja'd. I didn't understand that, too.

Well, the movement does not advance by one, it can advance more than one.

Each time the rng is called the frames are advanced, for example:

RNG call: stay still - +1 frame
RNG call: look down - +1 frame
RNG call: stay still - +1 frame
RNG call: look up - +1 frame
RNG call: look left and walk one - +2 frame
RNG call: look right and walk 3 - +4 frame

Set the date so the journal opens atomatically and you just have to worry about closing it and collecting the mon.
 
I might end up doing that :/ It just sucks that my calibrated time is 14 seconds and the time I have to hit is 14.57 if I use the odd version at 183 frames, not much breathing room.
 
At the chat they told me to tell you to wait for and NPC to move and save it at half step and then proceed to RNG the wondercard.

Wow that worked, thanks a bunch to you and those ppl in chat! I didn't think I did it properly since after saving on the half-step the game loads up with the npc already in its future place, but I got it my first try.
 
Right now I'm trying to get an almost perfect Raikou from the Wonder Card. The seed I'm trying to get is 690302C3. The frame is 43. According to the coin flips I hit my seed. However the Raikou doesn't have the right IVs.

I'm guessing I must've gotten the wrong frame or something.

The IV's are as follows:

Raikou - #243 (Rash)
HP: 30-31
Atk: 30-31
Def: 31
SpA: 17-19
SpD: 27-29
Spe: 20-23

It should be

Raikou - #243 (Rash)
HP: 31
Atk: 13
Def: 31
SpA: 31
SpD: 31
Spe: 31

I have two wondering pokemon out ATM. So I should have 20 journal flips. I start on a page that says "BIDOOF was caught (EVENING)" and one that just says started at X, Used a PC.

So when it opens up it should count as one flip, correct. So when I come back to it, it is two. If that is true I don't know why I'm on the wrong frame. I'm in the Jumbilife Poke Market with only one moving NPC, which didn't move at all.

So does the page that first comes out with "Bidoof was caught" not count as one flip? Is there any way to figure out what frame I was on?

Edit: I just hit it again and got the same results. I made sure I did the right number of flips too. The first page coming up as one.

The stats are:

Raikou - #243 (Rash) Level: 30
HP: 103
Atk: 65
Def: 59
SpA: 86
SpD: 65
Spe: 80

I know this isn't right because the Attack should only have 13 IVs. What is wrong. I'm hitting everything right, but I'm not getting the correct results. Am I not doing the correct number of flips?

The frame I need is 43 and I have two wondering pokemon. So 43-2-1 is 40, which means I need 20 page flips.

Can some please explain what is going wrong?

P.S. I don't know if this matters, but Cresselia isn't in my Pokedex at all. I'm run into multiple times, but haven't caught it or fainted it. Is it not supposed to be in the Pokedex until I catch it? Mespirit is and I haven't caught it yet either.
 

With Emerald, there is only one seed. If you know how Emerald RNG works, then you will understand that finding a flawless spread could take literally weeks or months of waiting.
 
One question:

How many frames go up when you use the Radio for MAry and Oak talk show? I want to make sure because I don't know if it's 13 or 14.

I find it hard to believe that this hasn't been cracked yet. Surely it must be trivial for someone with an emulator to find a RAM address that continues to advance while in a quiet Pokémart, and go from there. I've gone through 75 effectively flawless Celebis already, and not one was Timid. (4.68% odds of making 75 rolls and not getting the desired result.)

Yeah, just substitute calls to Juggler Irwin for the normal Elm ones. I know that somewhere it tells which one corresponds to which, but I don't remember where.
