On your own Pokemon, I don't know if there's an "official" ruling, but I'd say it should. I mean it's pretty clear your intention is to boost evasion.

Is Smogon being slow for other people? I find pages take ages to load and often get connection timeouts.

Would I do better with Gothitelle or Cofagrigus in the last slot? (Want a special sided attacker that doesn't give my team any 3x weaknesses) Or something else?
 
Will Hidden Power Ground hit a Levitate/Flying-type pokemon? Or will it just be not very effective. (Sorry if this isn't in the right forum, which forum should it go in?)
 
I know theres a RMT but id get hammered for posting something like this prolly. Im atm starting with breeding so using smogons listed pokes to get a general feel for a team.

Now its just Unova atm mainly cause i need to get online experience...and i cant seem to find the older poke's so...here goes

No ground type moves can hit a flying type pokemon and that includes hidden power ground, unless the opposing pokemon uses roost or something.
 
Hey guys,

I have a team in-game in Black and I want to know the IVs of my team but I dont know what EVs have been put into each stat. Is there any way to check the IV's?
 
Maybe. If you can use Vitamins, then you can get the EVs to a known value, 100. If you can't use Vitamins, you've got over 100 EVs, and you're out of luck for that stat until the Dream World comes out and EV-reducing berries can be got.
 
I'm sorry if I can't post this question here or on the forums period but i didn't see anything. My question is how do people get wifi pokemon battles on their computers? I currently use a acekard 2i where I have the rom on it. Can people battle online with emulators? Or do they battle on their ds and save it on the pokemon recorder and if they do record how do u get the emulator to open the .nds file? Because I get it to open with Desmume but it doesnt have the save file from my ds ;x
 
Does Desmume support Nintendo WiFi Connection? If not, you'll have to use your DS for the battle.

Remember that the .nds file doesn't contain your save game, that's in another file, usually a .sav. I'm not sure if the flash cart file is compatible with Desmume.
 
Does anyone know, does killing the wild pokemon you face increase your chances of finding rarer wild pokemon or is there no relation? I'm trying to catch a good natures Sigilyph and wondering if killing all the other random pokemon I see will increase the chances of seeing one or not?

Smogon is slow right now because there are a lot more people online with the american release of BW, and the servers for the site are struggling

It's only because there are many people on Smogon & this causes stress to the server. There's nothing anyone can do about it, & things will go back to normal eventually. I notice when I get home "after commitments" that Smogon is at normal speed.

tl;dr: many people are using Smogon, thus explaining the slowness.

when you first load up the game, on the screen where it says new game ect., go on mystery gift and you can download the ticket without starting the game
