Challenge The Scramble Challange

For BlisseyofDoom...
@Doominic77, you get a Slakoth. However, this Slakoth likes being small, and when it get bigger as it evolves, it feels very self-conscious. This means the moves that can be learnt depends on what form you keep Slakoth at
Stay as Slakoth: All moves available
Stop at Vigoroth: May not learn physical moves greater than 80 BP
Evolve at Slaking: Vigoroth challenge included, must know two of the following: Roar, Toxic, Protect, Rain Dance, Sunny Day.

Besides evolving, Slakoth also gets self-conscious when it reaches a high level. It must be the lowest leveled member in your party in order to participate in battles. Slakoth is not a coward however. If you keep him within these restrictions, he will solo an E4 member based on what you evolved into.
Slakoth: Sydney
Vigoroth: Drake
Slaking: Pheobe
NN it based on what you evolve it into:
Slakoth: Diddy Kong
Vigoroth: DonkeyKong
Slaking: King Kong
Have fun

@BlisseyofDoom:

You get Tech the shroomish...
this shroomish wished it had the technician ability so it must only know moves with 60 base power or less...
if you want to evolve it then solo Maxie at Mount Chimney...
evolution is not required...

yeah but breloom's is technician and technician makes for a better challenge theme than quick feet...
and anyway i said that shroomish wished, didn't dream of having it...:P

BlisseyOfDoom, take a Spoink, name it Pearl. It cannot use Psychic Type Attacks in battle unless it's holding a Pearl. When it's holding a Pearl, it may only use Psychic Type Attacks in battle.

Have fun.

BoD, you get Handicap the Torchic. This Torchic has always felt it's too strong for its own good, so it may never switch into a Pokemon unless it is the last one on your opponent's team OR it is at least three levels higher than Handicap. It may never be the lowest-levelled member of your team.

@Fritz

Your Woobat hasn't been taken yet, has it? If not, then I issue my first Scramble Challange...

Your Woobat is named Nosey. Now, as a Woobat it can only get around by using it nose. Having no eyes has made this particular Woobat's nose exceptionally sharp, so it must know Odor Sleuth at all times. It also likes to smell as many powerful things as possible, so you MUST bring it out on every Gym Leader/Elite Four Pokemon that is not being soloed due to another requirement. It doesn't like the wind much (despite being a flying type) as it blows smells away, so it may never know any flying type moves. (Get rid of Gust ASAP) It likes the smell of Burgh's gym, especially, with all the honey in it, so it must solo Burgh in order to evolve. (Good luck, with no flying type moves and Struggle Bug. <3) Also, it may never hold an item, as these interfere with the many smells it experiences.

There you go. In summary:
-Woobat named Nosey
-Always must know Odor Sleuth
-Must be brought out on every GL/E4 pokemon not conflicting with another Scramble
-Never know Flying moves
-No held items
-Must solo Burgh to evolve

Hey, you asked for it. ;3

Meh, I shoulda put this in my other post. Whoops.

@BOD, take a Zigzagoon. Name it Box. Now, this zigzagoon is envious of the Zigzagoon from Pokemon Box, as it has Extremespeed and this poor fella doesn't even get Quick Attack. Therefore, it must have a +Speed nature. It must also hold a berry at all times, to simulate the Gluttony the Box Zigzagoon can have in 4th Gen. It may not evolve until it learns Belly Drum, which must ALWAYS be the 1st move it uses in battle. It also has to learn Covet ASAP, and keep it, as it constantly Covets the status of the PB ZZG. It must solo Drake and Winona, and due to it wishing to change its very self, it must KO all of the wild Kecleons (unless another challenge requires you catch one)

So, to conclude:
-Zigzagoon named Box
- +Speed nature
-Learn and keep Covet
-Always holding Berry
-Cannot evolve until it learns Belly Drum
-Must ALWAYS use Belly Drum as first move in battle
-Must kill all wild Kecleons not conflicting with another challenge
-Must solo Winona and Drake

Enjoy.

@Fritz. Your purrlion shall be named Dandelion (is 9 characters to much? if so danDlion)
and she is a very dandy lion. She loves the sun and hates the darkness as such she has a few restrictions. NO Dark/Ghost type moves. Nor will she fight in caves at all and at night she must never lead your team. Confront your fears by having her take out 1/2 of the rivals team in Twist mountain (HER ONLY cave fight till then) after this she can evolve and fight in caves and lead at night if you desire. Though her dandy attitude still says NO ghost/dark moves. This good?

There is a fight in wellspring cave with team plasma. I'm not sure if this fight starts as soon as you walk in or if I can catch Nosey the woobat before the fight starts. I can comply with the rule to catch nosey if I don't attack at all before capture (as I need him for 3rd gym, but would not be able to fight in caves until I caught maractus in the desert resort).

@TM13IceBeam: Cheers. I'm not sure how long I'll have to search for a naughty heatmor with IVs right for HP fire that uses only fire moves on me. From the outlook, this is the only true scramble hell I've been dished up.

Beaten to it, but I'm gonna post what I would have given Fritzmonger:

Your Cryogonal must be wild caught (not bred), and may not be caught in winter. (Change the DS date since you probably don't want to wait until May to try and get it.) It must be Timid, with a 31 Speed IV and a 16 or higher SpA IV. You may not use any non Scramblemons in the capturing (so no synchroniser). You may not RNG manipulate. Obviously, you may not use an external device for any purpose. You must get it before reaching Icirrus. That is all.

Blisseyofdoom, use a Light Ball Pikachu. Since you will probably need to catch many Pikachu to get a Light Ball, use the one with the most powerful Hidden Power Ice, Grass, or Water. Name it FearTheChu.

FearTheChu must take out at least one Pokemon (rounding up) of all Gym Leaders and E4 members not being soloed by something else, to prove that everybody must fear the Chu.

EDIT: Oh great, I just realised I screwed up one of my LeafGreen Scramblemons. Gyarados can't learn Flail, only Magikarp, and I've evolved it too early.

From the outlook, this is the only true scramble hell I've been dished up.

EXCUSE ME? IS THIS A CHALLENGE?!

Fine then, I add these requirements to the challenge. Nosey needs to get a good whiff of all of the Pokemon it's out against, so it needs to use Odor Sleuth on ALL the GL/E4 Pokemon. If it faints before Odor Sleuth is used, than the opposing Pokemon may not, under ANY circumstances, be KO'd until Nosey gets his scent.

Also, Nosey (for some strange reason) likes the smell of herbs. They still taste nasty, however. Therefore, Nosey must not only solo Burgh to evolve, but also eat 5 herbs. This should be interesting, on a Pokemon that evolves with friendship.

But what's that? You can use Potions and such? Hardly. Nosey hates the smell of manmade things. It will only accept herbs, and the occasional revive/max revive. You can use the Pokemon Center as well, because it has nice flowers on the desk. <3

Also, when Nosey smells Shauntal, he notices her perfume. He likes her perfume. He likes it SO much, that he MUST stay out for the eniter battle, soloing her team.

So, in conclusion, the addendums are:
-Not only be brought out, but use Odor Sleuth on ALL GL/E4 Pokemon
-Must solo Burgh AND feed at least 5 herbs to evolve
-Only use PC, Herbs, and Revives as healing
-Solo Shauntal

YOU WANT HELL?! TAKE IT.

p.s. @ BOD: Sorry, just saw u were doing a cutemon run. Belly Drum is now merely a requirement, period. You still have to use it as its first attack.

ok then Playforkeeps you must get yourself a Torchic, Charmander, Cyndquail or a Chimchar with the same challenge
But if:
Torchick-Named Chicken
Charmander-Lizard
Chimchar-Ape
Cyndquail-Fire Starter
There those are the only 3 stage fires i can think of right now

Oh ho ho. I'm with ShadowBone. Bad move, Fritz

Derpfish may now only use Thunder once per PC visit, so sorry if it misses.

Thunder may never be used under the rain condition.

He must now get at least a hit in on every type water is super effective against.

He must solo ALL of Grimsley's Pokemon, immediately switching in after Nosey gets his scent.

He must also solo Ghetsis's Hydregion, because triple the heads means triple the teasing. And he may be no higher than 7 levels above the level it is at. And he can only use Revenge once (providing you survive...)

You wanted hell? Have fun continuously dying. (2hrdyet?)

@IceBeam

Tangela named "OhJapan..." Naughty Nature. Can only know Attract, Bind, Constrict, and Vine Whip. Must solo all humanshape pokemon of the opposite gender, and must use constrict/bind before using attract in any battle.

Am I too obsessed with Tangela? Probably.

@TM13IceBeam, You get a Sandshrew. This Sandshrew is fucking insane, and it thinks that its Freddy Krueger. That's why it refuses to learn any moves that don't involve its claws. The allowed moves are Scratch, Slash, Fury Swipes, Dig, Aerial Ace, and Cut. It also desires human flesh, and must kill at least one of each pokemon in the human shape egg group. Name it Krueger.

Also @IceBeam Yes I got your Gible post. Gonna post the first update tomorrow, but let's just say that even with amazing coverage, his moves are pitifully weak... ;-;

IceBeam, I feel like trolling tonight. Since your head Exploded, take a Geodude/Graveler/Golem named Boom!

The only moves it may ever use are Selfdestruct/Explosion. Tbh I totally forgot which version you are playing so either solo Lance, Will, Sidney or Aaron depending on the version.

In this case a solo means that Golem is the only pokemon to attack the opposition. Other pokemon may participate in order to heal.

@TM13IceBeam
Start with Charmander.
It may only use attacking moves that are considered physical as of gen 4.
Name it TheBoss and don't evolve him before you have 2 and 6 badges respectively.

IceBeam: Perform the trick to make the SS Anne stay. (Basically, after getting the Cut HM, deliberately lose to a Trainer on the ship.) Once you have acquired Surf and Strength, go back there and find the truck. Attempt to use Strength to move it. Since it won't work, you get fed up, so you get out your Super Rod and do some fishing. That's when it happens: the hooked Mew attacks.

Mew doesn't look like a Mew, it looks like a water Pokemon that you might catch anywhere. But it thinks its a Mew, and you think its a Mew. It must be stuck in a Transformed state. The best hope to return Mew to its natural state is to treat it like a Mew. So teach it four TM or HM moves, since Mew can learn any of them. After every subsequent Gym Leader victory, teach Mew a new TM or HM. Also, you need to treat it like a Psychic Pokemon, so send it in against most Fighting and Poison types, and keep it away from Dark, Ghost, and Bug types. Mew should solo your choice of Koga or Bruno.

Obviously, Mew can't evolve.

@ tm13:

take a staryu named Broken...
Well in order to justify its name the only attacking moves it may ever know are thunderbolt and icebeam...
it hates water types because it can't know any attacking water type moves itself so it must solo every water type in the game...

OK I'm not hearing any more changes, so I started earlier tonight, given the night fighting restrictions with Dandelion the Purrloin, I'm done for tonight inside the Striation Gym. And for those taking bets, I've been KOed twice (both by crits), once by Bianca, the other by a youngster in the dreamworks. I did start with Snivy, so neither rival has the water monkey from hell that burns.

Current team is Dandelion (F) L12 @ quirky, limber: Scratch, Fury Swipes, Assist, Sand Attack

Other restrictions that are required by combining all scrambles:
Derpfish may not exceed L61, all others may not exceed L54, nor breach 7 level buffer
Derpfish must land attack on Heatmoar while attempting to capture
Because I plan on keeping assist on Dandelion, no one may know a ghost/dark move that could be selected by assist
Lifting the freedom on Dandelion, its cave and night restrictions will continue post evolution
Nosey will be caught before plasma fight in wellspring cave, Dandelion must not attack (ergo Nosey caught at full health), this is the only way I can complete the scramble and keep as true to the challenge as possible

Required Solos
Striation Gym: Dandelion (only pokemon)
Burgh: Nosey (required for evolution)
Elesa: Regeneration
N @ ferris wheel: Regeneration
Driftveil Gym, minus Clay: Regeneration
Cheren @ Twist Mountain: Dandelion (required for evolution)
Opelucid Gym minus Iris' Haxorus: Froslake (no exit/save, soft reset and raise if fail)
Iris' Haxorus: Regeneration
Shauntal: Nosey
Grimsley: Derpfish
Marshall/Caitlin: Regeneration (if fail Haxorus challenge)
Ghetsis' Hydreigon: Derpfish
In all solos involving gym leaders or E4 (excl Striation), Nosey must use Odor Sleuth

I'll be honest, I'm still trying to work out a fourth move for Nosey (initially wanted U-turn (TM unavailable), then Shadow Ball (breaches rule with assist)) and Froslake.

OK good, I have my first ever LG scramble.

OhJapan(Tangela): Naughty, Attract, Bind, Vine Whip, Constrict. Must solo all opposite gender mon in humanshape egg grp, must use Constrict/Bind before using Attract.

Krueger(Sandshrew): Can only learn Scratch, Slash, Fury Swipes, Cut, Aerial Ace, Dig. Must kill every mon in the humanshape egg grp at least once.

BOOM!(Graveler): Can only use Selfdestruct/Explosion. Solo Lance(holy fuck).

TheBoss(Charmander): Can only use moves considered physical as of Gen 4. Evolve into Charmeleon after Misty, evolve into Charizard after 6th badge.

Mew(????): Must teach 4 TM/HM moves, must replace moves after every badge. Must be sent out against Fighting or Poison types, must not be used against Bug/Ghost types(Dark types don't exist). Solo Bruno. (btw as I have to get Surf to catch this thing, I can't solo Koga)

Broken(Staryu): Must only know BoltBeam, must solo every water type ingame(easylol)

OK, just a few qns before starting(I'm quite junior at this even though I gave out like, the hardest challenge on the board just a few posts ago):

1. If Mew turns out to be a Staryu, do I use 2 Staryus on my team?
2. Am I allowed to evolve Krueger and Broken?

The list of humanshapes:

Code:
Abra
Kadabra
Alakazam
Machop
Machoke
Machamp
Drowzee
Hypno
Hitmonlee
Hitmonchan
Mr. Mime
Jynx
Magmar
Electabuzz

mm, not really a prob. Outside of Lorelei, the last 4 are never used by trainers IIRC, but OhJapan and Krueger's challenges overlap, and I don't think I'd see a Machamp pre-E4 so I need a slightly different challenge. Overall, good call. :)
