Hey guys have any of you tried out eviolite Pineco? I have and must say they are pretty useful. It can set up all 3 entry hazards and it has rapid spin. Yeah it's kind of gimmicky but so far it's been useful.

Has anyone here used adaptability Dragon Dance Crawdaunt? If so was it useful?

Pineco does alright, but cannot take hits from the special side at all. So if your opponent knows what he's doing, he'll switch in a special attacker and set up, and you can't do a damn thing while he sets up at least a free quiver dance/shell smash/nasty plot, and with all the abusers of those moves in this tier, that can be a fatal mistake. You're better off using ferroseed to set up hazards, as he can cripple set up sweepers right when they come in with thunder wave, and let someone else do the spinning.

Eviolite Murkrow can be a pain if you're not prepared for it. Mean Look, Perish Song, and Roost with Prankster has taken down my walls once or twice :/

With investment he can.

But yeah that would be a terrible mistake. I do have pokemon that can phaze though so that fixes the problem somewhat.

Maybe, but he still gets rocked by STAB hits from the tiers premier special attackers, so you'll constantly be switching out, unable to do much.

With less Steels and entry hazard users in RU, Probopass has a better chance of success in this tier bar-none. It may be good to peak at how effective it is.

I personally think it's one of the best set up sweepers in the tier, just behind the quiver dancers. No one's discovered it yet though so don't tell anyone...

Entry hazards are as prevalent as ever. I'd say they're more common than in OU seeing as I can't remember facing an opponent who didn't have entry hazards. A bigger problem might be the grand total of 0 Sandstream inducers with Hippopotas in UU...

Entry hazards are probably on like 90% of teams.

OK I have been getting insane amounts of hax today, what have I done!

In one match, got frozen twice in a row by Gallade Ice Punch (offensive pivot then the defensive check both got froze) and it was gg.

Got the lowest damage roll possible against a Magneton with a Sceptile Earthquake allowing it to survive. The same Magneton paralysed my +3 boosted Venomoth after Sleep Talking Thunderbolt and subsequently I got fully para'ed twice to lose the match from an almost guaranteed win.

Earlier in the day, I got hit with 3 crits in a row against a Sharpedo early in a match taking out my three possible checks which was gg there and then.

I swear I never had a problem with hax in OU. I'm giving RU a chance to redeem itself but this shit has been happening in every battle today. -__-

Crawdaunt is a beast, as long as you can find something to set up on, which is hard considering his defenses. Also even with a timid nature and a DD he is still outsped by positive 110+. However if you can get over those problems, you will probably sweep your opponent just with Adaptability waterfall+crunch. I guess you could always set up on those calm mind+ 1 attack cress sets since they usually pack psychic or ice beam.

I think you mean jolly, not timid.

Crawdaunt brings a full stop to Cress. That's reason enough to use him. If he gets two Dragon Dances then it can be good game. His defences aren't too shabby either, you can survive a Rhyperior Earthquake and other powerful neutral attacks if you really need to. Poliwrath walls him to the ends of the earth and back so make sure you've got a way to deal with that bulked up muscle package. I've noticed a few Poliwraths already and they seem to be getting more popular which could spell an end to Crawdaunt's usability in RU. I certainly hope not.

What makes RU great for me is that most of my favorites are awesome in this tier, thus making it logically alright to use Broteams.
