Oh my goodness like I just got Pearl! I went to Target at around 8:00 a.m. and just got home with my game. YEAH!
 
Got Pearl at Target at like 8:10am, and evidently the "last" Palkia stylus as well lol

now I soft-reset for a Naughty Chimpyro with decent stats for like what two hours =/ good thing Lake Verity's music is absolutely fantastic (speaking as both a fan of music and an actual musician)
 
Did the 8 AM target thing, although I had to drive like 20 minutes to get home since I've been out of town the last couple days and caught up on forum posts before I started playing.

Aiming for at least 5 or 6 badges today !
 
I think I may be forced to import. As a Briton, I spent most of this morning checking to see if local game stores had got any US copies in. They hadn't. =(

Hope everyone who does have it enjoys it though!
 
Wal-Mart nearby said it has copies instock, but I can't be sure since the electronics department person was a jackass; wouldn't let me ask any other question =\
 
I picked up both Diamond and Pearl at my local WalMart at midnight. Plus I picked up the Sunday paper on the way in and showed them the Circuit City ad and they priced matched it at $27.99.
 
I have 1 copy of Pearl and 2 copies of Diamond coming my way Tuesday. I preordered them well over a month ago over amazon.com and payed for next day delivery. Sadly they won't ship today due to it being Sunday.

With that said I may just waltz over to Wal*Mart or Gamestop today after work and snatch up an additional copy of Diamond for myself (I purchased the other two copies as a surprise gift for my little sister and her best friend) so I don't have to wait, plus it can serve as a way for me to farm items/tm's once I get my copy of Pearl in.
 
Picked up pearl (and a DS lol) after I got of work at the wal mart supercenter next to my house :)

Just now started playing it though, had to watch the nascar next cup race off the DVR first.
 
I picked my up at 7:30 at Gamestop, (they opened up for us) I didn't have a reserved copy. They had plenty. Then I went to Toys R US and got a Nintendo Wii, and Wii Sports for the Extra controller. And of course no Zelda, so I had to go back to Gamestop and get Zelda. Funny, Gamestop was up at 8 am this morning, but Toys R Us didn't open till 10. You would would they would want to keep up with their competitor. I guess not.
 
Lucky people. They haven't hit stores in america, so I have to wait a long time.

Edit: Damn, I had the time to buy it, and now the chance is gone. Oh well, maybe next week.
 
Got Pearl today, Target at 8 am. Had it reserved. Went with Piplup, got a modest one on the first shot. Bout time something went right.
 
Just got Pearl, am booting it up now. I'll probably go for an Adamant Turtwig, though Impish wouldn't bother me.

How exactly do you soft reset on DS?

Wow, after just two resets, got a Female Impish Turtwig; awesome!
 
Grabbed Diamond and the guide for 3 bucks.

Amazing what you can do when you kill 3 games in the wait, trade them in, and abuse 2 trade in bonuses (promo for the day of AND the more card, <3 you gamestop.)
 
I went with my big group of (nerdy) friends and we all got it. We had went together back in January to pre-order it too. XD The EB at the mall opened 2 hours early, just for Pokemon - when we got there, there were like 4 kids there with their parents. o_O
