So has there been any news on the gba games the early adopters have been promised. I know we were told by the end of '11 but surely Nintendo has some ported already. 3 at the end of every month and the 10th on Christmas Nintendo?

Yeah those characters really are just... bleh. It seems odd that they would put those guys in but not Birdo or Waluigi. I do like how there are referencing Galaxy with one of those new characters though. I always thought that Galaxy references were a bit lacking in MKW.

I'm sticking with Rosalina (assuming she has access to good karts). I main her in MKW and she served me well so there's no way in hell that I'm changing.

just take all my money nintendo

just take it

ps. is rumble blast worth it i heard it sucked
It's one of those games that you sit back and just play. It's nothing really challenging, but I found it really addicting myself. Most of reviews I've read went in thinking it was going to be some complex game like the main series(obviously they never played the wii version), instead it's just a simple game. If you are just looking for something that is very casual, but really addicting, I would suggest it to you.

The only problem I have is the stupid random move selector thing. Oh I want to teach my Samurott an awesome move. *Pays 580 P* "Samurott wants to learn Tail Whip!" FML

So after the INTENSE disappointment of SSFIV 3D, I am extremely hesitant to get BB:CS2:E on the 3DS instead of the PSVita.
I'm also questioning the quality of 2-D character sprites in 3D...

you know what would be amazing, though? Spectrobes. Not overworld walking around finding fossils and shit, no.
I mean Krawl battles. In 3D.

I am so psyched for Heroes of Ruin. A little gameplay trailer got put up the other day on youtube

For those who haven't heard much about it it's a 3rd person hack and slash dungeon crawler with randomly generated loot and dungeons. 4 different visually customizible classes and unique class skills. And to top it all off, they're also including wi-fi multiplayer, including drop-in/drop-out multiplayer and voice chat! This combined with the recent announce that Nintendo would be offering DLC is getting me all kinds of excited.

This is just a minor tidbit regarding Mario Kart 7, but 2 new courses have been confirmed (one 'new' and one retro). The first one was to be expected though:

Rainbow Road
GCN Daisy Cruiser

This isn't new, but you can also use retro karts (like the Barrel Train from GCN, the Standard Kart from the first 3 games, and the Egg 1 from DS).

Beyond The Labrinth looks really pretty. That better be released worldwide!

I'm getting really excited for MK7. Watching the videos on the official site, I get the feeling that, unlike MKWii, they are really taking that extra step in presentation and aren't just half-assing it in some manner.

I can't wait for either of the Mario games, especially MK7. I personally like the idea of Wiggler as a playable character. Always thought he was pretty cool. The giant bee is just overkill though. I mean, seriously...

Not 3DS, sure, but Kirby Mass Attack is great.

Also, played the demo of MK7 that was part of this MK Heptathlon. Fun stuff.

It isn't a working title it's the real deal. The funny thing is if you count the Namco arcade games this should be the 9th game in the series.

Somebody also needs to bother Nintendo about those GBA games the ambassadors were promised by the end of the year. I was hoping for 2-3 by the end of October but that clearly wasn't happening. Does Nintendo just not want backlash for porting some of them before others it's weird.

Maybe, maybe, now that the price has dropped, I may look into getting a 3DS. My Lite has kept me fairly happy for literally years though. I had no interest in the DSi when it came out. Cheap gimmicks *cough 3D cough* just don't appeal to me. I fear I may have to get a 3DS eventually if I wanna stay current in the handgeld world. I'll wait and see how it all pans out before I make a decision.
Yes, I agree completely with everything you said.

I also fear that nintendo will eventually stop making games for the regular DS/DS lite/DSi/whatever other DS's there are.

The only, and I mean the ONLY REASON I WOULD GET THE 3DS is because I would want to continue to be able to buy new games for my handheld, specifically pokemon. I would also get Ocarina of Time, I never got my hands on the original.
