This thread is not exactly current, since this has been happening for a while, but seeing as I haven't seen anyone else post about it yet, I decided to go ahead.

Does anyone else watch Community on NBC? This is basically a general thread to discuss the show, but also an advertisement to get people to help save it.

It's got great humor that's subtle in a lot of places. Unfortunately, it's rather low on the TV ratings, partly because it's not as obvious as some other shows, partly because of its time-slot coinciding with other shows. In any case, it's up for being moved to mid-season right now, which is just a few steps away from cancellation.

There are several petitions up on the internet right now but the most immediate one is called Save Community. Any help would be great.

I will rage so goddamn hard if Community gets cancelled and Danny Pudi never wins an Emmy for his performance.

Danny Pudi doesn't play a character nearly insulting and inflammatory enough that he'd win an emmy. Why would they ever give him an emmy when they can give it to Jim Parsons instead?

By that logic you should just give it to Chevy Chase, but Danny Pudi is just too good to not give an Emmy to.

imo best was s2 but all three were good.

And why does shit like Whitney and Up All Night get to stay while this show gets "postponed"? Abed makes Whitney look like...uh...some movie reference!
