What's the best pokemon to put up screens now that deoxy s is uber?
Edit: this is terrible I don't think there is any duel screener that can lay stealth rocks.

Espeon and Xatu can set up Dual Screens successfully thanks to their Magic Mirror ability, which reflects status moves and Taunt. While Espeon is faster and more offensive, Xatu has recovery in Roost, as well as U-turn. They cannot set up Stealth Rock, however; you will need something like Tyranitar or Metagross to do that.

If evasion is banned due to making the game luck oriented, then why isn't togekiss' ability banned as well?

Evasion boosting moves were banned because it significantly reduces your chances of connecting your attack to the foe, and are not removed by switching out like Accuracy drops.

Togekiss is usually too slow to abuse Serene Grace without paralysis support. It's possible to escape para-flinching and land a hit on Togekiss, as well, and it is usually slower than Jirachi, the other major abuser of Serene Grace. Do not forget that there are speedy attackers like Starmie, Zapdos, and Terrakion that can all land a super effective hit on it.

In short, while Evasion requires almost no support and annoys the entire team, Togekiss needs to set up paralysis and can only flinch paralysis victims and slower foes.

Do you mean hustle? That's accuracy not evasion and anyway smogon doesn't ban ABILITYS that up evasion for some weird reason.

Edit: well HO teams are going to fall down in usage a lot.

Edit2: ok it seems that azelf is by far best duel screener in OU now that deoxys is gone sense because it can put up duel screens, taunt, put down stealth rocks and it will be faster than all the other pokemon in the OU tier (tied with starmie). There is also mew, jirachi and celebi if you want more bulk but they are slower or even the bulkiest of all (but slower than the others) Deoxys-D.

Nope. Ninjask is currently the fastest Pokemon you can use in OU.

Actually, there still are a few mons left that can use all three moves, namely Clefairy, Wigglytuff, Forretress, Macargo, Mamoswine, Corsola, Celebi, Lunatone, Solrock, Claydol, Metagross, Jirachi, Deoxys-D, Torterra, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, and Smeargle. A lot of these aren't very good, but things like Azelf and Metagross amongst a few others can probably fit the role you're looking for.

With spikes you're a bit out of luck however. The only other things that learn spikes+duel screens are Forretress, Deoxys-D, and Smeargle.

Out of these, only Azelf, Mew, Deoxys-D, and Smeargle can also learn Taunt, while Clefairy, Wigglytuff, Mew, Corsola, Celebi, Lunatone, Solrock, Claydol, Jirachi, Deoxys-D, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, and Smeargle can all learn Magic Coat.

Togekiss also has the ability Serene Grace, which allows it to put up hax-reliant sets relying on Paralysis and Flinching Moves, similarly to Jirachi. The reason some people make the comparison between this and double team is that both rely on luck for victory (one on you missing, one on you never attacking).

Edit:
Your link doesn't seem to work.

Sorry, here's the address of the page I found it on: http://pokemon-online.eu/forums/showthread.php?4471-Damage-Calculator-for-Generation-5. I hope that works better.

Thx man!
I still can't make it work though...I have Windows 7.
Is there any requirement for this app?

I also use Windows 7, so that's not the issue. Do you have Microsoft Silverlight downloaded onto your computer? According to the description in the original post of that thread, you need that to get the calculator to work. If you don't, I believe there's a link in the original post.

Is it a horrible idea to have two Ghost Pokemon on the same team? Making a Sandstorm team and already have Jellicent but I found it has a horrid Ground weakness. So I was considering Gengar.

It's fine to have some pokemon that are the same type but don't have more than 2.

and you quoted azelf who's in UU...?

also yeah if you need something to cover your ground weak (which idk how you have considering you should have landorus on a sand team) you can run gengar

Ok let me spell it out to you Azelf is faster than every Pokemon that is in the OU tier (atleast for now because Alakazam and Jolteon seem like they will be joining soon) but Starmie which it ties with get it?

the problem is that you quoted azelf as a valid DS user and claims its the fastest in OU, Lesser Smaug brings up a valid point that ninjask outspeeds azelf, and you say that you are only counting ou mons, which azelf isn't in

Holy crap how can you not get it? Im saying that Azelf is faster than all Pokemon currently in the OU tier, Im not saying he is in OU or he is the fastest pokemon possible in OU.

I was looking for a Battle Subway pokemon listing here in Dragonspiral Tower, but didn't find any. Does anybody know one?

I don't like Serebii's much because it shows pokemon according to trainers who use them. Sometimes it's useful, but I also feel the need of checking a pokemon's possible movesets/items regardless of their trainers.

Thanks!

Does anyone have good strategies for a multi Battle Subway run? The regular double battle mode is already pretty hard, so I can only imagine what a pain it may be to get to the Metro Masters for the second time having no control over which pokemon and moves your partner uses.

If I put a Power Bracer on my Pokemon and have it KO a Purrloin (1 Spe EV), will that Pokemon still get the +4 Atk EVs from the Power Bracer?

Also, does Pokerus still double the EVs gained after the Power Items take effect? I'm guessing it does but I want to make sure they didn't change it in Gen 5.

In my rain team i like to have something to absorb thunder type attacks .
This beeing Volt Absorb or motor drive.

As a volt absorber , wich pokemon would be best ? Jolteon or Raikou ? And why ?

Or should i go for Electivire to get a speed boost and sweep ?

Me, personally, I'd go with Electivire. But bear in mind that Lightningrod also now allows the Pokémon to absorb Electric attacks with no damage, which opens up some more possibilities, like Raichu.
