You can count on it. The spring regionals (hopefully) will fix any mistakes that happened from the fall. Advertising was a big issue for the fall regionals, so hopefully PTO's will do some major advertising for spring.
 
Yeah, also to add, there's actually a reason why there wasn't so much advertising for Fall Regionals. (To prevent large numbers of people overwhelming the TCG organizers who run all of this, along with a bunch others) Seeing how low the numbers were though, I can guarantee you Spring will be larger. I'm sure TCPi is reading our suggestions and will improve off them.
 
There's also a lot more time for people to prepare for spring regionals, so you'll get all the people who weren't expecting the fall ones and weren't ready/couldn't afford the travel/had other plans/whatever.
 
Wow that really depends on what you want to do with it.

It has the stats and movepool to be a fine defensive pokemon. Something like:
Rain Dish
Calm
Left Overs
252 HP / 252 SDef
Giga Drain, Teeter Dance, Leech Seed, Protect (or something along those lines)

It could also function as anti-rain if that would fit your team:
Swift Swim
Timid
Life Orb
252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Fake Out, Grass Knot, Ice Beam, Protect (or whatever)

Those are two Ludis I've used on non rain teams. But really, because of its abilities and movepool I can't see why you'd use it outside of rain, unless it was to counter rain one way or another.

I believe the DW Mamoswine was released as a Mamoswine. Thus pre-evo moves are impossible to obtain with it at the moment for a DW Mamoswine.

Wow that was extremely helpful. I was planning on using it as an anti rain team.
But which would work better Grass Knot or Giga Drain.
 
I love using Giga Drain on my Rain team. My Ludicolo has Absorb Bulb, and at +1 it can OHKO Pokemon such as Rotom-W which really catches people off guard. However, since you're running an anti-rain team, I'm not sure how useful Absorb Bulb might be but I think Giga Drain is still the better choice. It does a considerable amount of damage to everything and you get to heal yourself, whereas Grass Knot suffers doing anything against Rotom-W and others.

Sorry if this comes off as noobish but is there a thread where I can request RNG pokemon for VGC. I have Pokegen but I don't know if it passes the hack tests or not.

Check out the Wi-Fi forum, there's lots of trades and giveaways there. Pokégen can work, but I don't recommend it. Aside from the obvious ethical issues, it's really easy to make a mistake and not realize it, then get disqualified.
 
A basic Rain Dance team would probably smash it in Juniors, similar to how things like Terrakion + Beat Up Whimsicott did well in 2011 rules. I'm not sure how much you can really 'teach' to your cousin, but considering you should have a fair amount of time I'd guess you'll be able to discuss a few things such as: When to use Fake Out, and type effectiveness.

If you can teach your cousin the basic type effectiveness then they'll have a great chance with a standard team like that in Juniors. Other things like when to use Fake Out, Sucker Punch, and Protect will need explaining too.
 
Standard rain is about as straightforward as it gets, especially in Juniors where there won't be much in the way of things to disrupt the strategy besides the occasional other weather team.
