Could be possible. Like I said it just started working out of the blue. Kind of weird.

I found this advice in the roaming guide, but i'm not sure I understood well... so basically I have to enter a building (after some time travels), get the 4 season change screens and THEN go to the old lady's house... is this right? or do the four season change screens have to appear just after I got out the old lady's house to meet tornadus?

Are you sure you're hitting the correct ID seed (as in, you're setting your DS to the right date/time? Maybe you thought you searched for a certain date but it turns out PBox gave you a different date)? Try searching for ID seeds again and pick a new one, and then make sure you set the right date/etc. Then try to hit it and see if you get any results.

Edit: Oh yeah, Stellar might be right (assuming you only tried hitting your seed once). You might have missed your timer0 if you only tried to hit your seed one time. Keep trying to hit your seed, you'll eventually hit your timer0!

i caliberated my timer and i got 123C more often than 123D.and when i try to hit my id seed i did get 2 ids but none of them gives any results in pandoras box seed finder.(i mean if it is fluctuating atleast it should show up a result ) :-( can you rng abuse id in the dsi any way :(

yeah im sure the date and time is right.(and because i've done hiting standard legendary seeds ,wild pokemon ,eggs etc).and i have tried about 15 tries but still.but because im getting an ID (even though its not correct) rng reporter should show up a result but none :(

Ok so i decided to use a buddy of mines ds lite to try and RNG in white because i wasnt getting parameters with my dsi xl. i go and do parameter check and i end with a plus +1 on the seconds and a C7F as my timer0 consistantly. im in the last cave of victory road and im just trying to hit a seed with good IVs (30/31/30/21/31/31) this seed is to be hit at 02/15/12 at 00:38:35 so i enter my game at 38:34. i come up with a constant seed of 27/24-25/11-13/21-23/10-12/7-8 its also a lvl 39 boldore male everytime (doubt that means much but there it is). the full seed is FE1AFB58AB651D15 and my mac address is 001656BF9A17. the frame is 1 so im not advancing it at all and im using a sweet scent (faq didnt say anything about sweet scent advancing the seed any so i'v assumed thus far that it doesn't)

any ideas of why im not hitting what i'm what im attempting to. sorry in advance for the wall of text

You're getting the results you want. +1 just means when you are going to hit a seed you press A 1 second early.

so you mean enter the game from the ds main menu at 38:34 right? if so that's what I've been doing and it's not yielding what RNG reporter says it should yield.

For the DS parameters you have everything you need. Now go to the time finder and when you try to RNG a pokemon you would enter the game 1 second early. So yes.
 
I believe I something awhile back about often getting one of your Timer0 values if you use no keypresses and getting the other if you do use keypresses. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
 
Ok...so does anyone have some tips on catching the roamers? I'm using Standard Abuse, already found a seed I like in RNG Reporter on frame 1, but I'm unfamiliar with it beyond that...I know from reading the first page you can't synch it and it's about impossible to get the nature you want, so I know it'll mean lots of resetting. But I mean, is the basic concept otherwise that I save around where the genie is at, reset and hit the seed, etc etc and talk to it, then chase and capture? And pretty much rinse/repeat till I get the one with the nature I want I guess?

You save in the house (the one where you see it fly away upon leaving). You then reset, hit your seed, exit, 'talk' to it, find it, and capture it. Then check if it's what you wanted, else reset and make your next attempt.

If you mash A consistantly when 'talking' to it, then you can hope to get a somewhat consistant result. You control the PID the same way as with anything else (except you can't synch), i.e. view Chatot's summary screen while still in the house, but it might take a great deal of trial and error to get the nature (and possibly shininess) you want.

as i've said i've done this and i'm not getting the seed i aiming for. anything is hould try differently?

PPRNG says you hit frame 26.

However, I don't find the ID you're actually aiming for if I search for it, and the seed that you are hitting (according to PPRNG) doesn't match up with what is in your screenshot.

By the way, what is the nature and ability on frame 73 that you are trying to make shiny?

keypresses have nothing to do with it. use eontimer for better results.

Eh, shininess I really couldn't care about (not to mention I don't know my SID anyways), so yeah, simple great IVs is fine for me lol. Thanks, guess I'll have to set aside an afternoon/evening to do it. Just wonder which is better between physical or special Tornadus...or maybe just aim for like Naive so I can pick one eventually XD
 
I need to hit a seed that requires 4 frame advances, but I have 4 Pokemon in my party. Can I deposit one, save, and still be able to hit the same seed?

You would have to deposit, save, and reset and then re-hit your seed, as depositing advances the frames by 7.

Well, it's not a Wild Pokemon. Definitely not a stationary Pokemon (you don't fight it). And it's given to you as a gift, so...
