If I m understanding this correctly then thats supposed to happen. Magic Bounce only activates once per move. So Espeon vs Espeon2. If Espeon2 uses Toxic then Espeon2 gets poisoned.

Hey, I think there is a problem with Sturdy. I was playing hackmons and came up against a Sturdy Shedinja. While as expected it was immune to all direct damage, for some reason secondary effects did not take effect either, which they should, as the attacks still hit. Specifically, the move Inferno failed to burn it, despite the 100% chance, Dragon Tail failed to phaze it, and Volt Switch did not let the user switch out, all of which should have been allowed.

EDIT: After another encounter with this, it seems that all effects are prevented. I also just tested it with Endure at one HP. It would appear that any time no actual damage is dealt, no non-damaging effects come into play, even though they should. I don't know much about the coding or anything, but if I had to guess, it would seem to me that it treats damaging moves that do no damage the same way that it treats attacks to which the opponent is immune, or attacks that miss, when they are in fact distinct events.

The foe's Miltank used Zen Headbutt!
[DEBUG] Wonder Guard immunity: ZenHeadbutt.
It had no effect!
[DEBUG] damage event said zero.
Shedinja used X-Scissor!
The foe's Miltank lost 23% of its health!
The foe's Miltank restored a little HP using its Leftovers!
The foe's Miltank is hurt by poison!
Turn 10

The foe's Miltank used Body Slam!
Shedinja's Focus Sash activated!
[DEBUG] damage event said zero.

So Miltank probably has Scrappy making his normal attack work on ghost type but it's not super effective so wonder guard should still block it but it didnt since focus sash activated itself.
Just to expand on what aesoft said, Scrappy's text and effect is exactly:

"Enables moves to hit Ghost-type foes."

Despite the fact Wonder Guard prevents non critical hits, Scrappy acts like Mold Breaker in this case, as it makes sure fighting and normal type attacks will always hit the ghost type, unless stopped with protect/etc before.

Dual Chop has a 10% chance to miss.
the main thing im referring to is that it says "[DEBUG] sand veil - decreasing accuracy."
I was saying that its possible that is just incorrectly displayed, and that it didnt drop it, in which case my luck to miss 3 in a row (.1% chance without sandveil) is terrible, but thats besides the point.

Turn 18

The foe's Xatu used U-turn!
Ferrothorn lost 13% of its health!
The foe's Xatu lost some HP because of Iron Barbs!
The foe's Xatu lost some HP because of Rocky Helmet!
The foe's Xatu fainted!
Pokemon Master For sent out Granbull!

[DEBUG] 150 bp.
The foe's Granbull lost 27% of its health!
The sandstorm rages!
The foe's Granbull is buffeted by the sandstorm!
[DEBUG] natural immunity.
[DEBUG] weather immunity.
Don't think Granbull is supposed to come in and get hit on the same turn. I could've got 2 KOs lol.

Oh, and I don't have the capacity to test this in the actual game, so if someone could do so to make sure that would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry for asking again, but Defiant still isn't working against intimidate.

Log:
Battle between SalamanceSquad and Rypher started!
SalamanceSquad sent out Salamence!
Rypher sent out Kingler (Bisharp)!
The foe's Salamence intimidates Kingler!
Kingler's Attack fell!

Opdi

I COULD BE BANNED!
If you attempt to use trick while holding a choice item and the target faints before trick is used, you still become locked into trick. I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to get locked into it.

Please note that Xatu faints due to iron barbs in the log I gave, but the next pokemon switches in on the same turn and gets hit. That is most certainly not completely normal; if you are sure it is, some evidence from the game would be appreciated. It doesn't work like that on PO.

edit: also

Turn 1

[DEBUG] Sheer Force boost.
The foe's Totodile used Ice Punch!
[DEBUG] LO boost.
Ferrothorn lost 29% of its health!
Ferrothorn used Stealth Rock!
Pointed stones float in the air around Weeaboo's team!
Turn 2

jc104: why didn't you take iron barbs damage there?
[DEBUG] Sheer Force boost.
The foe's Totodile used Ice Punch!
[DEBUG] LO boost.
Ferrothorn lost 31% of its health!
Ferrothorn used Thunder Wave!
The foe's Totodile was paralyzed!
Turn 3

Weeaboo: dunno
jc104: is it a bug?
Ferrothorn used Spikes!
Spikes were scattered all around the feet of Weeaboo's team!
[DEBUG] Sheer Force boost.
The foe's Totodile used Ice Punch!
[DEBUG] LO boost.
Ferrothorn lost 26% of its health!
Sheer force appears to be cancelling iron barbs/rocky helmet damage. Again this may happen in game, but I doubt it.

Don't I get a lot of Ferrothorns in random battle?

Taunt only lasts for 2 moves if a slower pokemon is using it, when it should always last for 3 moves no matter what.

I know this is a bug because PO used to have the same bug until I reported it...

The foe's Toxicroak used Swords Dance!
[DEBUG] sub bypass: self hit.
Jellicent used Taunt!
The foe's Toxicroak fell for the taunt!
Rain continues to fall!
Turn 21
The foe's Toxicroak used Drain Punch!
[DEBUG] natural immunity.
It had no effect!
Jellicent used Will-O-Wisp!
The foe's Toxicroak's Substitute blocked Will-O-Wisp!
Rain continues to fall!
Turn 22
The foe's Toxicroak used Drain Punch!
[DEBUG] natural immunity.
It had no effect!
Jellicent used Will-O-Wisp!
The foe's Toxicroak's Substitute blocked Will-O-Wisp!
Rain continues to fall!
The foe's Toxicroak's taunt ended!
Encore has the same issue

e: haha I missed aeo's reply to this the first time i skimmed through the thread. Pretty sure the encored pokemon should have to use that move 3 times regardless of who's faster though

I was testing some things from the Research Thread and I came across a few bugs. First is a Pokemon low on HP using Rapid Spin on an opponent with Rough Skin/Iron Barbs/Rocky Helmet. If the Rapid Spin user faints from the recoil damage, any entry hazards should not be removed.

For the sake of simplicity, I used debug mode with Shedinja as the spinner.

Code:
[B]Turn 5
[/B]
Shedinja used Rapid Spin! The foe's Sharpedo lost 43% of its health!
Shedinja blew away Spikes!
Shedinja blew away Toxic Spikes!
Shedinja lost some HP because of Rocky Helmet!
Shedinja fainted!
Found in the same linked post, Dragon Tail and Circle Throw are not supposed to switch the opponent out if the user faints from Rough Skin/Iron Barbs/Rocky Helmet damage. When I was testing this I noticed that Dragon Tail and Circle Throw are completely ignoring the item and abilities; the moves work normally and the user takes no recoil at all. I didn't save a log of this, but it's fairly easy to reproduce.
