Numerous people have told me that Dark Pulse and HP Fighting works better on a Porygon-Z than Boltbeam. Anyone mind explaining this to me? I thought Boltbeam was suppose to cover almost anything, so I don't see why it shouldn't be used.

Question: I currently have a regular DS and am considering to get a DS lite soon and shall rid of my regular DS. Would using the new DS lite cause me to have to change my friend code?

As an update, I did get a new DS lite today and turned in my old DS, after struggling to make some trades last night. While I did not do any wifi transfers to new DS lite, it does look like my friend code is indeed intact, so it does not look like I'll have to go around updating my trainer card nor telling everybody what my new friend code is over and over again.

They stay.

Darn you're right, new FC coming soon. Oh well, was starting to fill up with too many friend codes anyways, best to start all over again, and time to get a new trainer card which needed to be updated anyways.

Basically, 1 level of a stat = 1.5x the stat. 2 levels = 2x the stat. And so on, until 6 levels which is 4x the stat.

So if you have 100 speed...

DD: 100 * 1.5 = 150

RP: 100 * 2 = 200

3 RPs or 6 DDs = 400 speed.

Yes, you can have up to 3 sets of Spikes, Stealth Rock and even Poison Spikes out all at the same time.

look there for all the quirks of the pokemon, but be warned, it's not always guaranteed to be the highest listed stat: ie: Capable of taking hits might be a 26 in Defense IV instead of a 31. (it's more likely to be 31 if you bred two pokemon that are "Capable of Taking Hits" and you are sure that they have a 31 in that IV)

If I breed a Hitmonchan with 4 of those with a Machamp, will the baby have all 4? I only ask since the babies normally have the crappy Tackle/Tail Whip sort of moves at birth. Would one of these override any of the egg moves?

The stat formula doesn't work that way. When you evolve him, he will have the stats of a Vaporeon with your Vaporeon's IVs, level, and EVs, not those of an Eevee.
