Who will start at QB for the Jets this year? Personally, I think that it will be Sanchez, since he is a 'traditional QB' and Tebow really isn't. I think that the media has hyped the Tebow thing way, way, way too much out of proportion. I can understand the Jets getting Tebow, as he is a decent backup QB, he has a great work ethic, and overall seems to be a good person. I can also understand Tebow's press conference, oddly enough, just because of Tebow's popularity with the media. If Tebow were not this popular, that press conference would not have happened.
No one really addressed this, so I'm posting it again.
Basically, Sanchez is the more 'traditional' and more experienced quarterback that the Jets have, whereas Tebow has more running ability and a good work ethic. I think that the media is hyping this up too much, and that Sanchez will start most of the games. (barring some unforseeable circumstance, of course.)
Also, to some other things:
I don't think that the Saints will have many problems. They have roughly the same offense as last year, and some good free agent signings on defense. I also think that the Falcons will also be in the playoff race, along with the Panthers IF the Panthers get a defense.
I like the new overtime rule for the regular season, as it makes games a little more fair, in my view. It will make overime games that much more exciting, as teams will be more aggressive to get touchdowns instead of field goals.
Also, there's no such thing as luck, really. Its just what people preserve to be luck, mainly when unlikely things happen.
Finally, I think that the Jets may just need to get rid of Santonio Holmes, if he is that much of a cancer in the locker room.
