That is only on the giant map. The smaller maps have one in each location. I only noticed that there was a plane in the new location due to the changes between the two.

Look just to the right of the box around the Giant Chasm. On the ice-covered map, the coastline is slightly more indented and there are two islands instead of a dark circle shape. What could this mean?

Two? Weird, I can only see one.

Now, people, http://filb.de/1772, HQ videos!

I want you guys to help me with an audio bit: In the third video, the players send out Reshiram and Black Kyurem. The video freezes, but the audio doesn't, and we can hear an "ability bar" appearing on the screen. Clearly, it's saying "Reshiram has Turboblaze" or something along these lines, but... just before the battle moves on, we can hear ANOTHER sound bit, just like the first one. My question is, in BW, would that mean the ability bar appears twice (that is, both pokémon have abilities which are informed when then are sent out), or it doesn't prove anything (that is, the ability bar makes its specific sound bit twice)?

EDIT-- Checked it myself with the help of this video. The ability bar makes two different sounds when it appears, and you can hear both sounds TWICE in the Reshiram vs. Black Kyurem battle. Which means the new Kyurem' abilities activate when they switch in.

We need to know what the ability is, and the HP number. help please!

Wouldn't that mean that its ability is a MoldBreaker like ability like reshiram's and zekrom? If that's true I'm disappointed.

Mold Breaker, Turboblaze, Teravolt, Levitate, weather abilities (but there was no end-of-turn animation for Hail and we KNOW that they wouldn't give Drizzle/Drought/Sand Stream to them, so no), Wonder Guard, something like that. Or maybe ~Overdrive~.

We need to know what the ability is, and the HP number. help please!

I'm sure its HP is the same as Weak Kyurem. I'm impressed a 100 BP move from Reshiram did ~48% while a 140 BP move from Kyurem was a OHKO, though. I'd say Kyurem was EVed just so it could look stronger.

Crap move charge turns aren't canceled according to the video. Must get power herb in BW2 to even consider using it now.

Power Herb won't help, it's a one trick Keldeo. Black Kyurem is going to be shit if it doesn't get Icicle Crash, or if God Stone/whatever doesn't remove the charge/even exists to begin with.

Or it could have been a critical hit. At around 1:45 it said something. I believe that's the message for "it's a critical hit" or something.

Edit: Ignore this, I suck cock. Just realized the japanese text basically meant "Ressy fainted"

I was browsing the Japanese website (which means clicking random links and seeing where it takes me), and accidentally turned on Google translate.

I was surprised by the accuracy of some of the translations, but there were still a bit of grammar hiccups.

The main point of this is that on this page, the paragraph mentioned something about a "map of frozen sheets" and something about an "accident that occurred in a rural location two years later."

Does anybody care to interpret or perhaps translate this better?

I hate to be a bother but it was lost as the last post of a couple pages back and I was curious.

I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but the Pokemon sprites have new battle animations. You can see in the rival battle that Snivy no longer crossed his arms, and Oshawatt now pulls his shell off his belly.

I realize those were just demo videos, so nothing should be taken completely at face value, but...

It appears they have changed the level up movesets for some Pokemon. Azurill was encountered at level 5 and used Bubble, an attack that it did not learn until level 10 in BW.

They most likely wanted to give it a damaging attack... it would have started with Charm/Splash.

Well, from the info given today, the best thing about it was the new animations.

I don't really want to speculate about abilities and such myself though, as anything is possible.

I also like the slightly changed music and the new rival battle music.

My god one night's sleep in Europe and you guys fill up two whole pages again!

For the person who said they were hoping for Hoenn... If I remember right someone of pkmn (can't remember his name, important guy) said that there won't be hoenn... Maybe these parts are just in Unova but are hinting at a remake/adding some unique things which were Hoenn exclusive. Boh I don't know.

Damn from the looks of those videos these games will be worth all the euros i'll spend on 'em

What if the Ovedrive modes just increase the power of Freeze Shock and Ice Burn? If they work that way and the damage increase is high enough they might be worth using even without Power Herb. Ice is such a good attacking type and the 30% chance to add a status effect will make most checks/counters think twice before switching in.
Kyurem has enough bulk to survive most priority attacks anyway.

Black Kyurem takes hits within an acceptable deviation for EV/IV/nature quirks of the calcs for Kyurem and gets an OHKO with Freeze Shock on Reshiram that should be impossible even with 31/252/Adamant. Safe to say it's getting a 20-point bump in the offense of choice to 150 and thus a BST of 680, like the other two.

Heys guys, for you who watched video in filb.de, I want to pointing out something.

At the video about Reshiram vs Black Kyurem, Black Kyurem used Zekrom cry instead Kyurem cry, this is weird. As far as I know, pokemon with forms will always use their original cries, except Skymin who have different cry with land Shaymin.
