Hilarious result..

Not even fucking surprised by any of this.[even predicted this] I don't know what else Arsenal wants. Had a solid point difference..made an incredible league table comeback..but once again..when they need to close things out and show that they're somewhat dominant..they play like jokesters and decide playing half a season with a few exciting stories and moments in-between; will be good enough for them.

(Sent from my phone; while I cut myself)

Wow, Norwich pull out an amazing result from nowhere. I really thought their season had ended with nothing to play for.. But now Arsenal have really slipped up. Big incentive for Newcastle tomorrow, if they can win both games they have a fantastic chance at Champions League football. I know they're extremely tough games, and I can't expect a result against City.. But things have gone Newcastle's way after their hammering from Wigan, they need to take this chance (for United's sake too :D what a lovely coincidence).

Going to be an exciting day tomorrow if Man City fail to win.

worth noting that we've not lost at home this year and only Chelsea and West Brom have beaten us at home all season. And don't forget we gave you your second biggest beating of the season here. tl;dr St James' Park is a fortress again so don't write us off just yet.

can't call it. neither of us can afford to lose so it's a bit of an immovable object/unstoppable force kinda thing. i reckon city will look for an early goal to ease their nerves so if we can stay disciplined early on and get to 30~ mins at 0-0 then maybe we can sneak something through a moment of magic from the likes of Cisse or Cabaye or Ben Arfa.

i do think it's awful disrespectful to swansea how you've got all eyes on us and have them down as an afterthought though! they are gonna be very eager to throw a spanner in the works after the disrespect that has come their way lately (both by Mancini and Man Utd fans).

I do think Swansea will give us a tough game, but we've gone and fluffed it against Wigan, Everton, and City. Despite this season going the way it has, if City let us in again I cannot see us dropping any more points.

Swansea have shipped something like 11 goals in their last three games IIRC? While despite the Everton game, our defence has been decent as of late. I fancy us to beat Swansea regardless of City's result.

In regards to Mancini's comment, and all the remarks of disrespect, I think everyone can agree that Swansea at Home and Swansea Away are generally two different teams.

Unless you've become an Exeter fan, and I've missed something. I must admit it was confusing me on soccer saturday earlier.

not really all to disrespectful to be honest. man utd will expect to beat swansea, who have very little to play for at this stage in the season. of course they've got to go and do the job on the day, but you'd either be a brave, stupid or informed man to put money on swansea.

fa cup has kicked off in other news, hopefully will be a good game. can see the likes of ramires performing, considering he doesn't have a shot at the cl final and will want to make the most of it

edit: did i mention i had ramires first scorer and just won 80 quid:pimp:

He's just making me feel worse about the CL final :( What will we do without you?

knew instantly that we were going to get outclassed in midfield when i saw the line-up.

the insistence on playing downing and henderson (he hasn't played a pass forward in the first half) is going to cost us dearly.

Henderson is a waste of money and space.Drogba so boss :)

EDIT:What a save by Cech! Now bring Torres on

I've put money on Swansea (draw no bet admittedly)

excellent second half performance. thought a 2-2 scoreline at ft would've been a fairer reflection of the match.

for a player that i thought was absolutely inept technically, andy carroll doing what he did to john terry really surprised me. he also bossed ivanovic and terry (two phenomenal headers of the ball) in the air.

Liverpool with and without Carroll were two different teams. For the first time, he looked like a player that could justify his price tag. Too little too late for Liverpool though. Cracking save by Cech.

I thought it was fairly enjoyable from the neutral. Liverpool chased hard at 2-1,and I honestly couldn't believe this difference that Carroll made. He wasn't doing anything pretty but he did apply some added pressure. More of that on a regular basis, then you can start considering his price tag. A fair result though, surely that should get Di Matteo the job. The commentator summed it up perfectly "It's the perfect job interview"

I'm not going to lie, carroll's overall form has been horrible but I like him because he offers things that can very rarely be found: absolute dominance in the air and one the best left foot i have ever seen.

I can't help but feel smug as liverpool lose to a very, very minute mistake, i actually thought carroll's header went in, although i would never admit it. What are everbody's thoughts on tommorows matches?

Honestly Carroll should have scored that header, he had literally the whole goal in front of him and he put it where Cech could get to it. Other than that, it was a pretty boring match..

Haha I don't know how you can say for certainty that went in, from the replays that showed it looked to be right on the line. Another reason there should be goal line technology but there was no way that "clearly crossed the line".
