Boyle: uhhh why wasn't that a goal? ? ?
Ref: what goal?
Boyle: the one we can all see in the replay
Ref: what goal?

It wasn't a goal because it was pushed into the net by Boyle skating into Holtby.

Whatever. Two evenly matched teams but one had the almighty black-and-whites on their side.

No, Wideman (or whoever it was sliding) was the one who pushed it in (check the replay). The reason why it was called off is because the referee saw interference (Rangers player crashed the crease and touched Holtby's pad, pretty weak call in my opinion). I would have been fine with either call; Capitals did nothing to capitalize on their powerplay anyways.

Wideman was sliding because Boyle skated right through him. Boyle's skate also hit Holtby before Wideman. Was a good call. Was probably called that way to make up for Holtby losing his shutout in game six on a goal scored with interference.

Fun fact: Boyle autocorrects to Hitler.

You've got to be kidding.

No. You see that shit all the time with refs. They miss a call early in the series and then miss a call later by overcompensating for the one they missed early.

Way to get trolled.

A) There is only 1 game left in this entire round.
B) Saturday is probably the most available day for anybody to watch sports ever.

There's another series already set. They could have easily had games on all weekend without inexplicably taking 3 days off waiting for one game (which has turned into a much bigger advantage for NJ that it should have been), and without running head-on into the NBA schedule. Doing this also would have set up better games for next weekend. The schedulers for the NHL playoffs this year are essentially banking on both series going 7 games, because if they don't then they won't have ANY games on the next weekend (except maybe game 1 of the finals on sunday night if they're lucky). It's pretty idiotic all around if you ask me, but hey maybe they'll get one of these weekends right!

For those interested in the draft picks, Edmonton Oil Kings just won the WHL final and are going to the Memorial Cup. Increased stock value on Reinhart and co.

And since when was LA a Conference Final team? Poor Phoenix. 4-2 loss at home. Looks like this is gonna be a blowout.

Meh, I have hope still, maybe this will finally light a fire on their asses that they need to score more. Kinda funny since Phoenix usually wins when they have a score of 2 or better >.>

Either way, I'm making sure to get tickets for game 5 as soon as they go on sale (as I really doubt there will be a sweep).

Sure, if they score first and are playing with the lead. The Kings scored first and never gave the Coyotes the lead, so they were never able to sit back and trap the shit out of the game to win it. The first goal in each game of this series will be ridiculously important.

brb crying rivers of tears into copious amounts of alcohol over Hunter stepping down even though it was totally obvious it was going to happen

Semin to test the FA market. Anyone in the market for a unmotivated Russian who has the tools to be elite but never actually utilizes them? Thinking someone could get desperate and try a Semin experiment.

I might not be a hockey expert but last I checked, you can't hide the puck in your glove and slide it across the ice when you're not a goalie and it's at the other teams end ._.

Detroit could use him. If Semin isn't motivated playing there, then there's no hope for him.

Wouldnt be surprised if the jets expressed interest.......if we dish away Kane or something I wouldn't be surprised if we picked Semin up.

Why Coyotes why...you make it this far just to get swept by a fucking team worse than you? Get your asses back in the game, you cannot afford to lose in LA now for fuck's sake now >.>

Worse than them? You mean the team that is about to finish knocking off the 1, 2, AND 3 seeds? Right.
