Let's Make a Pokemon Government

Okay, so it's election season and we're all excited for the Presidential Race. Why not discuss what Pokemon would be AMAZING at fulfilling certain roles in the government?

To contribute, just name the pokemon, their role, and why they should get that role. (Example: Alakazam, President, IQ of 5000 would help solve issues.) They can be as elaborate as you want them to be; it doesn't have to be as short as I made it.

You can assign a role for ANY PART of the government, whether it be Congress, the President, the Supreme Court, etc.

Let's see how this goes. This should be interesting :P
 
Dragonite:Secretary of defense.

Whenever there's a war, dragonite can solve it, unleashing hurricanes, earthquake, meteors, and tidal waves to halt the opposing threat. With multiscale, roost, and extremespeed, it would be difficult to assasinate.
 
But the EPA is also a lot about pollution;there needs to be a grass-type in there;i hear one of the bw ones can create trees?
 
Arceus is the pokemon god. Whatever happened to separation of church and state??!!


But yeah, each justice is a different form of arceus.

Edit: Plusle and minun for VP/Pres. They would boost each other and up look super cute in office, it's perfect. And the VP is finally useful!

Meowth can handle the economy. That coin on it's head tells me it'll do well balancing the budget.

Also, Landorus and shaymin can handle agriculture. They'll do well with the harvests.
 
Guys...try to put ACTUAL REASONS to support the positions rather than just stating who you want randomly (does not apply to all of you, of course...you know who you are)

As for space, I feel Deoxys isn't a bad choice for space program since it CAME from space.

I'll probably compile all the good ideas eventually.
 
Let's have slowbro work on the fishing industry. Sure it's a bit forgetful and lazy but in order to evolve it had to fish that shellder onto it's tail so it will give valuable insight for the fishing industry.

Also, I think Alakazam would fit much better in education than being the president. With it's 5000 IQ it would work very well in making schools work for kids.

As for the president, I'd say Vespiquen. It has experience as a leader and would work well as president.

Also, Gyarados, Salamence, and Haxorus would work well as the generals of the army.

Edit: Actually, as president, I cant make mind mind up between Vespiquen and Cobalion. Cobalion has expierience as a leader and the heart to protect it's people.

Landorus and shaymin are fools that will focus to much on corn and wheat, for a more balanced natural agriculture system we must have Celebi!

and Clefable has had more outer space experience than most of these youngsters

See, vader agrees with me. Slowbro for fishing industry. It works.

Also I've come to a decision rather quickly for president. COBALION FOR PRESIDENT! It cares for the people and wouldn't betray them. However, Vespiquen with it's leadership experience would provide valuable information to Cobalion. Therefore, Vespiquen should be VP. COBALION/VESPIQUEN 2012! Make it happen!

Celebi is good with forests but wouldn't do so well with making food. It'd probably do much better working with hospitals as it can grow herbs and provide different medicines to Chanseys, Blisseys, and Audinos.

Meganium would work well for that too.
 
Cobalion is a terrible candidate, look at what it has done in the past:

Black: This legendary Pokémon battled against humans to protect Pokémon. Its personality is calm and composed.

Clearly a pokemon extremist.

White: t has a body and heart of steel. Its glare is sufficient to make even an unruly Pokémon obey it.

Use of propaganda!

Clearly this is not the pokemon we want in office.

Ah but you see, those things also work in it's favor. In the B2/W2 pokedex, it states "It works with it's allies to punish people who hurt pokemon." It doesn't actually go against all humans just those that hurt pokemon. It's heart of justice allows it to work well in the affairs of those in poverty and are being hurt. It also will not stand for tyranny and terrorism. Also with it's calm and composed personality as well as it's glare being able to make an unruly pokemon obey it, it's work well in foreign affairs as it could make allies easily with other nations and make any enemy of the country think twice before attacking. The only problem is that it doesn't look like it has very much leadership experience which is where Vespiquen as VP comes in. It will provide valuable insight to Cobalion to make it an even better leader.
