Oh my bad, I was operating under the assumption that Pete Carroll WASN'T mentally handicapped and knew that icing the kicker doesn't work.
 
Pete Carroll gave that win away with that stupid timeout. I was this close to looking smart for picking Seattle. Oh well, I have a feeling it's going to be an incredibly boring championship week with SF-ATL and NE-BAL and an equally boring Super Bowl.
 
How can you watch the three games so far and say the rest of the playoffs are going to be boring? Everyone, myself included, thought Denver/Baltimore was going to be a boring rout.
 
Well this is annoying. Now who the hell am I supposed to root for in the playoffs? Fucking Pete Carroll, if you're gonna call a time out, don't let them get the kick off first. Otherwise the kicker can gauge if he misses and adjust the second time.
Oh well, guess I'll jump on the 'Ray Lewis is retiring so we gotta win him another SB' bandwagon. Let's go Ravens!!!
 
come on guys qb rankings are all about who wins in the playoffs so clearly based on 2012 (assuming Patriots-Texans is about to be a blowout Patriots win)

Brady>Kaepernick>Flacco>Ryan>Wilson>Manning>Rodgers>Schaub>Dalton>Griffin>Ponder>Luck>>all other NFL qbs especially ones who would not win and in like Suck Manning or Tony Blowmo or Jay Queerer

Its NBD, you guys can't perform in the 2nd half and you win on a last minute field goal every game. Have fun losing to da Niners xD.

Although ugh, Pats need to win the AFC now cause them and the Niners are really the only likeable teams left imo.

there should be a rule against kickers taking field goals 10 seconds after timeout is blown. i can understand if the kicker is in the motion or about to be in the motion, he cant stop so he shouldnt be penalized for that, but bryant literally looked around for like a good 5 seconds after the timeout was blown and got a kick off. gotta be some kind of flag come on
 
does anyone REALLY think pete carroll lost that game by icing bryant??? it's not like that's even a trial-run for the kicker, it's just another warm up kick like anything else. him missing it meant nothing because the kick meant nothing.

if you really want to blame him, blame him for running the fullback on 4th and 1 with Wilson/Lynch on the field. blame him for not calling enough blitzes to go after matt ryan (i don't think he got sacked at all?), and blame him for going empty backfield on 3rd down at the end of the half when Wilson got sacked. they really coached a hell of a game, and really i'd attribute the slow start to the whole west coast -> east coast more than anything!



that was an outstanding game to attend. plenty of ups/downs, and the last thirty seconds was phenomenal. damn those flags though, a lot of people were waving them even when the plays started :evan:

Only boring for me because I hate all four of those teams XD. I'm sure it'll be exciting for the fans of those teams.

Also man, the Texans are helpless when you take away their run game. They have zero ability to adapt and switch up their game plan when they fall behind. I guess I'll hop on the 49ers bandwagon now since I dislike them the least.

Started Stevan Ridley in the playoff challenge, so Pats are trolling me by giving all the TDs to Shane Vereen. Gronk also out early :(

The state farm ones are trying too hard. Don't like them. I think apple is no 1 though
 
Look at Tom Brady inflating his stats with short throws to wide open receivers. He's nothing but a game manager at this point in his career. I think he even used play action a few times this game. Jeez.

Well I almost put it as low as #4 because it was only on one of the two networks. What especially swings it in comparison is that all the CBS self-promos are so short and often barely have any annoying factors, some are alomst completely silent even....American Idol is all flash and fake, and the commercials are just like that - loud music, lots of fast paced fake bullshit, ughhhh. I was on a feed with no mute button and dying. Finally went to a worse feed near the end of the game just to mute commercials.

it doesnt work like that when it isn't true

edit: I don't have to go into it, the fact that RGIII's insane running ability makes his job as a passer significantly easier it undoubtedly true. Tom Brady uses his mind as a passer to outplay a defense.
