Super Smash Bros 4 (Spoilers ITT)

Like I said earlier in the thread, with Wii Fit Trainer and Animal Crossing Villager as confirmed characters just about anything can happen, which is exciting and terrifying at the same time.

Dude, Tingle would be a bad-ass character. I don't see a problem. He's like, one of the most popular characters in the Zelda franchise outside of the United States, and is the only Zelda character to get his own series of games (to my knowledge). I think he has as much a place as any in the roster, and at least he'd be interesting. idk, just my two cents on it.

@ the above, pretty much that for me, but with less... harsh language? Yeah, harsh language sounds like the word to use.
 
So uh, after getting the feel of the Wii U controller, I gotta say, it probably won't be too bad transitioning from the GC controller to it. I probably should buy a Wii U though instead of using my friends. Can't wait for 2014!

I think I'd be okay with transitioning to a Wii U controller, but I really care more about how well the 3DS version of the game works, as I'm more inclined to game on the 3DS I already have than go out and buy a Wii U just for SSB. I'm used to a Wii remote + Nunchuck for Brawl though, so it may take some time if I do need to get a Wii U. The 3DS just seems more convenient as a gaming platform, and it'd be nice to have some really good multiplayer games on the 3DS.

One of the things I'm going to be looking forward to is all the music tracks.

There were some epic remixes in Brawl that are well worth turning on Brawl again just to listen to.

Example: Castle / Fortress Theme

The Dark World

Meta Knight's Revenge

Squeak Squad Theme

Kirby Boss Medley

Among many, many more of course. What songs do you think are gonna get a re-up? I hope they do some Megaman series stage themes. Wily's Castle, Megaman X and Zero themes ofc, First Sigma Battle in X1, etc.

I would love some tracks from Bowser's Inside Story and of course Black/white music.
Though I'm especially looking forward to all the Megaman music they are bound to put in.
 
If we're on the topic of music,

Let's get some nonshit mother music in here as well as some nonshit stages. New Pork City is possibly the laziest goddamn stage ever invented - more or less, somebody said "hey guys, we're running out of stage time... uhhh... let's plop some land here, here, and here and add a couple of platforms over there. uhhh... this isn't very mothery... eh, we'll throw in the ultimate chimera for the hell of it! DONE"

I swear, if New Pork City returns unchanged, I'll be vaguely frustrated.

For a game with some of the best music you'll ever hear on a GBA... they managed to fuck up the remixes of half of the 4 songs they ported over (Porky's theme and Love Theme (this is actually Mom's Hometown ?_?) are well done, Unfounded Revenge is awful and You Call This a Utopia is... uhh... kind of awkward (and would have been nice if the instruments weren't so switched around)).

They also included exactly two battle themes...

From a game with about 30 of them AND managed to mess up their only two shots. Surely they could have made some sort of nice medley?
 
Speaking of Sonic and Shrek...

All the pokemon music is always flawless, and now that megaman's rocking tunes that sounded good in 8-bit are gonna get revamped into true masterpieces.

If they have to remove any of my characters to make the same roster between wiiu and 3ds I will go insane.
