What I find interesting about the weather is, if it triggers abilities like lightning rod like its rumored to, specs Manectric will hit like a truck: 100% accuracy thunder +stab+specs+lighting rod+boost from the field. Damn.
 
What is Josh, the leaker, focusing on now? Has he found any new areas at least? Tbh I'd rather discover the super-training stuff myself. I'm interested in knowing if there's anymore new areas or Pokemon.

Speaking of weather inducers, knowing that the legendary birds are around in this game and that I love them so much, part of me wishes they had Mega evolutions with Weather inducing abilities. Articuno definitely needs more love and Snow Warning would be kind of helpful, although Ice/Flying is still horrid. And Moltres I think deserved Drought more than Charizard, which received two Mega evolutions -_-. Maybe not Zapdos, though...it already has the superior type combo, and Drizzle and STAB Thunder sounds a little ridiculous.

That's why the Electric Field was created
 
I mean I certainly wouldn't mind the auto Electric field for Zapdos...certainly if there isn't an accuracy boost, then it would be more fitting than no-miss Thunders, although in return there would be boosted no-miss Thunderbolts instead. I'd take it if it meant Mega forms with auto-weather for all three birds.

Wait, how would it not affect Zapdos? He'd benefit from the boost to electric moves and possibly no miss thunders just like any electric type. He would lose lightning rod (assuming he gets it finally) to go mega, though.
 
As far as we know Electric Terrain boost the power of Electric moves by the same percent that Rain/Sun boost Water/Fire moves and allegedly gives Thunder a TRUE 100% accuracy.
It's also allegedly activates Lightning Rob/Volt Absorb and probably any other/new electric abilities (Minus? Plus?), but I think that would be a bit OP...I mean holy shit getting +1Sp.Atk EVERY TURN?!?!? IT WOULD BE SPEED BOOST FOR SPECIAL ATTACK!
 
No one has a CharizariteY, Kanpachi didn't even bother testing Snow Warning, no one caught Larvitar/Hippopotas and lol Politoed. It seems we, the good people of Smogon™, will have to cary the burden of bringing the light of baaaah I can't be bothered writing something witty.

Josh has beaten the 7th Gym Leader and is facing Team Flare right now (spoiler: they're the most evil team ever made). I'm almost sure the 8th Gym Leader has an Abomasnow, so any of you should post in this thread http://boards.4chan.org/vp/res/14357525 asking for him to check the length of Snow Warning.

Unless, of course, he doesn't have an Abomasnow. Then you ask Josh to catch a weather inducer.
