When reading about the Gengarite ban I noticed that they banned it for the "Support Characteristic" is there any way I can see the other characteristics, by which things are banned, just curious.

Check out this thread by Jumpman16 for an in depth analysis on the three characteristics.

Edit:

A lot of Goodra sets recommend Sap Sipper over Gooey. What's the reasoning behind this? I thought forcing physical attackers to take drops in speed would be more valuable than eliminating grass type moves completely.

Sap sipper is commonly recommended because it makes you immune to spore, which significantly helps your team when the enemy has a Smeargle or Breloom.
Thanks for answering my question btw.

Sap Sipper lets you avoid a tonne of things like the aforementioned Spore but also stuff like Stun Spore and Leech Seed as well. Gooey can be clutch but really you don't want to be switching Goodra into physical attacks anyways. It has neither the stats nor the typing to make a good physical pivot.

Hey, I know we'll have a speed tier list eventually. Think we can have a priority tier list as well? You know, who will have faster priority than others, that sort of thing.

I'm suggesting it here because this meta is drowning in priority and a list like that would help that. I'm also suggesting it here because I have no idea where to suggest it.

Anyone have an idea of a suggested nature for a Coil Zygarde?

Also, does anyone have the stats it would have at capture (lv. 70 with 31 IV) on hand?

+ 5 Speed priority moves: Helping Hand
+4 speed priority moves: Detect, Endure, Kings shield, Magic coat, protect, snatch, spiky shield
+3 priority moves: crafty shield, fake out, quick guard, wide guard
+2 priority moves: Extremespeed, feint, follow me, rage powder,
+1 priority moves: Ally switch, aqua jet, baby doll eyes, bide, bullet punch, ice shard, ion deluge, ,ach punch, quick attack, powder, shadow sneak, sucker punch, vacuum wave, water shuriken
-1 priority moves: Vital Throw
-2: None
-3 priority moves: Focus Punch
-4 priority moves: Avalanche, Revenge
-5 priority moves: Counter, Mirror coat
-6: priority moves: Circle throw, dragon tail, roar, whirlwind
-7: trick room

All these are in the current X/Y game, 5th gen has some changes mind you. If 2 pokemon use the same priority (EG azumarill uses aqua jet and scizor uses bullet punch) the fastest mon will attack first.

Hope this is what you are looking for! ^o^

Not exactly, I mean a speed tier with just the Pokemon with +2/+1 priority attacks.

Hey just a quick question probably obvious. If I use foul play and the pokemon I use it with is burnt (not the opponent) does the burn affect foul plays damage?

edit: found the answer, Foul plays damage is affected if the user is burned but what happens if the foul play user has a choice band on, will i get the bonus from the choice band even tho i'm using the opponents attack stat?

-Liepard (Base 116)
-Mega Absol (Base 115)
-Mega Lucario (Base 112)
-Tornadus (Base 111)
-Thundurus (Base 111)
-Mega Pinsir (Base 105)
-Mega Kangaskhan (Base 100)
-Lucario (Base 90)
-Kangaskhan (Base 90)
-Klefki (Base 75)
-Mega Scizor (Base 75)
-Absol (Base 75)
-Breloom (Base 70)
-Scizor (Base 65)
-Azumarill (Base 50)
-Sableye (Base 50)
-Conkeldurr (Base 45)

+2 priority:
-Mega Lucario (Base 112)
-Lucario (Base 90)
-Dragonite (Base 80)

+3 priority:
-Mienshao (Base 105)
-Mega Kangaskhan (rarely) (Base 100)

This should be a good start, with all the mons that have some use in OU. There's probably a lot I'm missing but oh well.

I am going to now sound extremely stupid, but guys,I had just thought of something. Is it likely that a defensive Pokemon will EVER get banned to Ubers?I mean,yes,Deoxys-D was a thing but it only got banned because it gave offensive teams an unfair advantage. If I remember correctly, defensive Pokemon has never been banned before, even in the stallfest that was Gen 2 and 3.But hypothetically if the next game that comes out introduces a pokemon that gives stall an unfair advantage, will a defensive pokemon ever be banned?Even if it is like,a Steel/Electric type with levitate and godlike defenses and with an endless support movepool?I am aware of Lugia, and in the OU speculation thread, people have suggested bringing it down, and while most other people said it would be too powerful for OU,they said it not because it would be too good of a defensive Pokemon, but because it would be too good as a Calm Mind sweeper,or as a bulky attacker with 110 speed and fantastic coverage options such as Boltbeam,Aeroblast,Brave Bird,Earthquake,Surf and some other things I don't remember.

This question is not turning out to be not as simple as I thought it would be,should I make a thread for this? And if so,where?

Whats the best ability for special Lucario and physical Lucario before Mega Evolving?
For special Lucario,I would say Steadfast is better, because that extra speed from a Fake Out from MegaKhan helps, but Inner Focus is decent too.For physical,Justified is a fantastic ability.I had switched in on a Dark Pulse from Mega Blastoise once, and the turtle got cleanly OHKOed by Close Combat, and so did the rest of it's team.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts. Steadfast was the ability to go for me with special Lucario because of Khan.

If a stall Pokemon existed that gave stall a huge unfair advantage, then yes, it would likely be banned. Also, please do not make a thread about it.

Sry for the repost, it was originally near the end of the page 95

In some ev spreads there are like 4 evs designated to something , for example, 252 atk 252 speed 4 hp. Why 4 evs? In X and Y, after you max out 2 stats in the super training, the evs left are 6, not 4
It takes 4 EVs for a +1 boost to any given stat at level 100. This means that those 2 extra EVs are entirely irrelevant. You can basically think of your allotted EVs as 508 rather than 510.

Wat is currently the best zygarde set to run?
Coil is pretty alright.

I've used this set, but it's not like extremely good, it's alright.
Zygarde @ Leftovers
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Coil
- Earthquake
- Extreme Speed
- Dragon Tail

While it might not be an OU situation, Cresselia was banned from RU for being absolutely unbreakable. It was actually banned twice (someone decided to let it back in for some reason).
Does Roar now bypass Protect?

If it does, then is this due to the phazing nature of the move or the fact that it is Sound-based?
It is because it is a phazing move - Whirlwind now bypasses Protect as well. Dragon Tail and Circle Throw, however, do not bypass Protect.

Ok so i read the monthly statistic and it said right at the start "talonflame too high, kangaskhan too low". Is talonflame not as good as he seems and kangaskhan secretly overpowered?

Whos actually amazingly strong and teams cant go without?

its just saying that the statistics don't reflect right now because they are from early on when everyone was trying out talonflame (pushing it higher up on the usage charts)and there were other megas vying for kangas spot (making kanga see less usage than it is currently)

Ok I'll try asking again, 3rd time. for the lack of an answer before:

IS there any information on the 'Attractions' feature of Pokemon-Gl?

*Edit: And especially information on the relationship pokemiles share with said attractions

Are the Battle Maison and Institute the only ways to Earn Battle Points?

CAn any other pokemon than SMeargle learn 'Happy Hour'?

(And Inkay, obviously)

Let me just take a moment to answer this.

No, there is no information. That is why you haven't had any responses. No one knows, and no one wants to respond to that, in case someone else actually does know. Asking a question to which no one has an answer is just not going to get you a response. Nintendo has not announced any new information on the events (and I highly doubt they will before Pokébank). If they do, there will be threads on it in Orange Islands, and multiple articles on places like Serebii. It will not go unnoticed. This question being the first one on your post, and having two lines of your post dedicated to it, are probably why your entire post went unanswered. No one has the answer to this yet, and won't have an answer until Nintendo actually announces something, so a glance at your post seems to indicate that it is essentially unanswerable.

I know of no way besides the Battle Maison and Battle Institute to acquire Battle Points. Nor can I think of any place likely to offer those that we have not found yet.

No one is currently known to obtain it as an Egg Move. And, given its placement as an Event-only Move, I doubt anyone will. Most event moves that are unavailable through level up are also unavailable through breeding (Sludge Wave is not an Egg Move on Gastly, it's Event only). And, since no Pokémon learns it through levelling, I highly doubt it is anything but an Event move.
