As I was preparing to reply to the Viability Ranking thread, I saw that Florges and Arcanine were put in under blacklisted section.
What qualifies a Pokemon to be blacklisted?
When discussion about the pokemon, typically comparing it to something else that fills the same exact niche and is already ranked, happens to derail the thread. Significantly.
Ah so it is like how say people could be trying to compare Arcanine and Entei and Sylveon to Florges with it just going around in circles rather than saying that said Pokemon aren't even usaboe in the OU tier, correct?
Just breed with Croagunk/Cacnea/Spinda(they learn it by level iirc). How does Bisharp learn Sucker Punch? It's not on Bulbapedia's move list..
Does some one have a good spread for Mega-Pinsir?

Awesome, and will Bisharp pass down Sucker Punch if bred with a Ditto?
I've been trying to use Round in Triple Battles in the Battle Maison, but I don't understand how it affects priority. I knew that Round triggers other Rounds to follow, regardless of Speed, but I've also read that the third Round doesn't get a speed boost, which happens sometimes.
I've been trying to upload a battle video, but I can't, so here's what happened:
I start with my Jolteon, Aurorus, and Gardevoir against Gallade, Drifblim, and Heracross.
First turn:
Gardevoir mega-evolves, Jolteon uses Round on Gallade, Gardevoir uses Round on Heracross (KO), Aurorus uses Round on Gallade (KO), Drifblim uses Stockpile.
Opponent sends out Altaria to replace Gallade and Politoed to replace Heracross.
Second turn:
Jolteon uses Round on Altaria, Gardevoird uses Round on Politoed (KO), Altaria uses Dragon Pulse on Aurorus, Drifblim uses Stockpile, Aurorus uses Round on Altaria (KO).
In the first round, Jolteon's Round was immediately followed by Gardevoir and Aurorus, followed by Drifblim.
In the second round, Jolteon's Round was immediately followed by Gardevoir, but then Altaria and Drifblim got to attack, and Aurorus got delayed.
Does anyone have an explanation for what just happened? Throughout the Maison, I've seen Aurorus outspeed things it shouldn't and later not outspeed them when it's the third Round.
Also, would a Lonely Absol or Brave Aegislash be viable?
How do you teach Smeargle Memento in XY, or is it even possible? I tried the old taunt trick and wasting mementoer's turn with the use of an item, but it doesn't seem to work anymore.
Brave Aegislash yes, Lonely Absol no
It's defensive stats are bad, but that doesn't mean you should make them worse. Adamant (+Atk, - S Atk) would be much better, because you shouldn't be using its Special Attack anyway. Why not Lonely Absol (+ Atk - Def) ? I thought its Defensive Stats were Terrible and its Attack Stat was great. What would be a better Nature for Mega Absol?

In a nutshell, we try to keep the game as skill based as possible. Luck based effects take this skill away from the players and decide how the battle goes by RNG. Since evasion has very few ways of beating it, and most of these ways are inferior in every other way than other options, it was decided to just ban the offending things. Less RNG spam = more skill required to win = better gameOkay, I'll ask again. Why are evasion boosting moves, items and abilities banned this gen?
