Had to do the boring old regular double battle streak to unlock the super doubles so just threw together a Char-Y and a chlorophyll Venusaur (with dis-quake Zap/Chomp in the rear) coz figured it'd be kinda fun/quick. Needless to say I cleaned out the 20 trainers then figured I'd try super doubles with the same team just to see if it was actually any good. Got to 40 before getting destroyed by an Aerodactyl (I swapped in chomp for char turn 1, then both chomp and venu got flinched every turn until they both died, then obviously char and zap got ko'd very soon after)
The team is very weak to rock and a lesser extent to ice (also trick room) but now I kinda wanna see if it can be improved on to go further...
Obviously a pretty rough team, just thrown together very quickly. I figured Sitrus Berry would work on venu during setup (it does for Azu anyway...) and the Soft Sand / Zap Plate were purely for dis-quake spamming. Zapdos' movepool in this game sucks, I wish it could have Heat Wave and Tailwind.. I'm probably going to chuck a Lum Berry on chomp and Swords Dance over Crunch but that's as far as I've got.. I'll take any advice, even 'the team sucks don't even bother' lol
