such hidden power wow, prepare yourself. Unown now gets Natural Gift to bomb things with physical moves (once), Psywave to do even more inconsistent damage. Protect is probably the second best move Unown has outside of Hidden Power. TL:DR choice specs Technician Unown bombs the hell out of anything that doesn't double resist its HP. Broken enough to maybe be useful? No it's frigging Unown
Technician was given to this guy because sometimes spelling is hard, and being a letter, he knows what he's doing with spelling. Go him.

So, instead of making this into a fast sweeper, I decided to make it into an bulky wallbreaker with great defenses and acess to Recover.

Volcarona has 3 big problems : its frailness on the physical side, its wakness to Stealth Rock, and its limited coverage leaving it walled by the likes of Heatran, Infernape, and Tentacruel. These problems are solved by the new stat distribution, the new availible ability, and the new moves respectively.

BROKEMONS UPDATE #1 - TYPE CHART

The type chart. It's been like it is for three months, but it may need changing. And here are the changes:

Ice-type: Now resists Water and Normal (YAY! Ice gets resists!)
Water-type: Now is weak to Poison (because water pollution)
Normal-type: Now resists Fairy and Dragon (because there's nothing that mythological creatures hate more than a slap to the face of reality)
Fairy-type: No longer resists Bug (Bug was way too resisted)
Fairy-type: Now is weak to Normal (see above)
Grass-type: No longer weak to Ice (Grass is a type that Game Freak had truly shat on, and it needs balancing)
Rock-type: Now resists Rock (Because Stealth Rocks need more resists)
Bug type: No longer weak to Rock (Because Stealth Rocks need balancing)
Bug-type: No longer resists Grass (Because Grass had been shat on)
Bug-type: Now resists Dark (Because Dark only had two resists before this happened)
Fighting-type: No longer resists Bug (See Fairy comments)
Fighting-type: Is now weak to Poison (Because fighters get weakened by poisons)
Ghost-type: No longer resists Bug (Bug needed less resists)
Ghost-type: Now resists Psychic (Psychics had lost resists, so we balanced it out)
Ghost-type: No longer weak to Dark (Don't worry, Dark gained another SE hit)
Ghost-type: No longer resists Poison (Ghost was too good a defensive type, so it loses a resist)
Dark-type: Now weak to Dark (See? Told you)
Steel-type: No longer is immune to Poison, now resists Poison (Steel had too many resists, so we took away its immunity)
Steel-type: Now resists Ghost (Ghost had too few resists)
Steel-type: No longer resists Psychic (Steel had too many resists)
Steel-type: No longer resists Steel (Steel had too many resists)

I'll try to get an image of the new type chart up but I'm bad at photoshop. (Hint hint nudge nudge someone make it hint hint nudge nudge) So yeah. Discuss!

To be honest, with all the auto-terrain abilities, I was expecting an auto-gravity ability too. Gravity is a very cool mechanic that i think should have its own ability. Otherwise, there are some very cool buffs and new attacks, especially since now all types have priority.

How to buff Jirachi: Iron head 50% flinch. Give it 151 base speed. Watch Brokenmons writhe in agony.

Reptile, your chart shows Ghost being weak to Psychic when it should be resistant.

Psychic looks really scary imo, not because of the type chart changes, but because of this:

So every Psychic type with this move gets perfect neutral coverage and can hit Fighting, Ghost, Psychic, Steel, Dark, and Poison for SE damage with just two attacks, that both get STAB. Yeah, this doesn't seem like a good plan. Maybe that should be revised in some way, because that sounds too good.
 
Hey Oiawesome, for Kalos 2 we have Tiebreaker Orb to increase speed by 10%, Muscle Band to increase attack by 10% and Wise Glasses to increase special attack by 10%. Why not have two items to do the same thing for defense and sp. defense? Who knows what difference they'll make, but it's an interesting thought.
 
Hey guys! I know this is kinda off topic and kalos 2 chat is sort of dead but, I made some icon sprites for the mega latis! This of course goes with kalos 2, so feel free to use them in RMTs, set recommendations etc. I will be re coloring the mega lati battle sprites on my showdown server to fit this, however these icon sprites will not be on my server till I get a mass update soon:
