You know something's wrong when a Forretress shuts down your sweep.

No there isn't. Everyone and their mother knows that Forretress is the face of HO. It's attack stat is nearly double that of magikarps, making it a very potent sweeper. One that has to be carefully prepared for... it is you who is the noob for not taking advantage of its godly attack stats and instead opting for leftovers instead of life orb, and all manner of spikes instead of more viable options like Giga Impact. Because that is the greatest move of all time, save hyper beam. Obviously. Shit.

You see, by cursing just now it made my post more true and more mature. I think I will do it some more in order to make myself appear more mature and knowledgeable.

STUPID ASS SHIT I'VE SEEN FUCKING UP THE METAGAME:

- Mightyena in Ou. It had Hyper Beam.
- I used Knock off on a gliscor which made it lose its toxic orb before it activated. Insta-forfeit!
- Ninetails with Hyper beam.
- Tyranitar with stone edge, earthquake, crunch... and hyper beam. See? Hyper beam IS the greatest shit ever.
- I send out Deoxys S on turn one. The other guy says: "Only NOOBS use legendaries!" and then he forfeited.

Sadly that's all I've seen, I have to make an alt and get my rating lower...

Random Shit volume 83: 150 Pages Edition
-Cloyster using Frost Breath... on Arcanine... without Shell Smash.
-"Pinsir used Hidden Power!" Enough said.
-Noivern using Super Fang on Aegislash.
-Rock Polish isn't silly on Landorus-T, but using it with Hammer Arm is a bit wonky. Also, he had Block.
-ThunderDance Thundurus-T, also not silly, until you see Discharge on the same set.
-Another thing to add to the things that can use CounterSash: Krookodile. Only problem? It tried to counter Hydro Pump (good old MixPert).
-If Garchomp is spamming Outrage, I think there are better things to revenge it than non-scarfed Salamence.
-The chat in this one is funny. Preview: "nicer aim": http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-109319873
-Klefki trying to trick a Flame Orb onto M-Scizor. Stick to T-wave, bro.
-On turn 1 of a battle, Gengar predicted that a Cloyster would use Shell Smash, and used Haze. Only problem? Too fast.
-Never seen an HP Fire Quagsire before. Well, at least you can do something to Scizor (or you could just Scald it).
-Chansey using Thunder Wave on said Quagsire.
-Then Quagsire goes and uses EQ on Thundurus.
-BellyZardX? Too bad it doesn't boost Speed.
-Vigoroth.
-Blissey using Block on Aegislash. Or ever.
-Houndoom using Bite.
-Slowbro using Psyshock on said Houndoom.
-Mantine.
-While it's true that physical Y-zard is a decent Chansey lure, that doesn't mean you should expect to use it reliably for other things.
-Sure, Greninja is a better switch-in to Outrage than Mawile. /sarcasm
-Later in that battle, when it's Mawile vs. Dragonite, D-nite uses Outrage anyway. Plus the Mawile wasn't mega.
-Thrash Gyarados.
-Raticate.
-Tyranitar using Low Kick on Bronzong, because Crunch is too mainstream.
-Ninetales using Will-o-Wisp on a paralyzed Ambipom.
-Focus Sash... Ferrothorn?

In which I learn it is VERY fun to disguise oneself as a bad player. Keep in mind the only Pokemon I even took seriously was kyurem B, the rest... well.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-109336192

Apparently using charizard and Kyurem b in OU is cheap.

- A team of all Eveelutions (replay wasn't that memorable) with such memorable icons like signal beam, non magic bounce espeon. A jolteon being outsped by a charizard. And Sunny day, Flame Charge, Flare Blitz flareon! To kill grass types!

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-109342738

Wait for the Talonflame to come up... the rest isn't too good but that talonflame!

Ah, my run is cut short because I have to do RL stuff. Bye for now.

Turn 1: The opposing Kyogre used Thunder! Deoxys-Attack hung on using its Focus Sash!
Deoxys-Attack used Stealth Rock!

Turn 2: Deoxys-Attack, come back!
Go! Dugtrio!

The opposing Kyogre used Thunder!
It doesn't affect Dugtrio...

I FORGET HIS NAME forfeited.

anlorenz sent out Jirachi!
The opposing Jirachi is hurt by the spikes!
Pointed stones dug into the opposing Jirachi!
Turn 14

The opposing Jirachi used Body Slam!
It doesn't affect Aegislash...

Aegislash used Shadow Ball!
It's super effective! The opposing Jirachi lost 48% of its health!

Mandatory replay http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-109392438

he also sent a chansey on a mixed Aegislash

Also i love guys like this:

eoxys-Defense used Magic Coat!
Deoxys-Defense shrouded itself with Magic Coat!

The opposing Mamoswine used Stealth Rock!
The opposing Mamoswine's Stealth Rock was bounced back by Magic Coat!
Pointed stones float in the air around the opposing team!
Turn 2
You have 150 seconds to make your decision.

Deoxys-Defense used Taunt!
The opposing Mamoswine fell for the taunt!

The opposing Mamoswine can't use Stealth Rock after the taunt!
Turn 3
You have 150 seconds to make your decision.

fasdf forfeited.

So I sent out my Skarmory to lay down Stealth Rocks, and he sent out a Scizor. I layed down my rocks, and he proceeded to mega evolve and use Hidden Power. The hit was neutral, and even with Skarmory's poor special defense, the hit only did about 18% (if I remember correctly). He used it again against another of my pokemon and it was neutral (I don't remember what it was, maybe Garchomp). What is this coverage?!? Why no other moves...? He quit a few turns later.

I had another instance on the PS! ladder that was quite amusing, but in this case the team itself was not that bad, but the trainer himself. The team was a full set of 6 physically attacking pokemon. Some of these poor pokemon forced to be in captivity of this cruel trainer included Mega (I assume it was mega) Medicham, Azumarill, and Excadrill. So as the battle started, I immediately noticed in the team preview that all his pokemon were physically attacking, and that there were no fire types, clerics, or Conkeldurr to absorb/heal burns. Obviously my first thought was "spam Will-O-Wisp!" since both my Rotom-Wash and Bulky Charizard X knew the move. This is exactly what I did, and I managed to burn three of his pokemon without taking much damage myself. After the third burn, this crazed trainer proceeded to call me a name that I will not repeat here (since there are younger people here), and said something along the lines of, 'That is all you know how to do. All you do is burn things.' He then forfeited.
My thought at that moment: o_O Huh????
Seriously, why was he mad? That has to of happened to him before. I mean really, why would I not spam Will-O-Wisp?!? His team is all physical attacking pokemon with no way to heal or block it! I just don't even know... I feel so bad for the pokemon that have to be held captive by him though...

Just going to put this out there but if you're getting swept by what did most of my sweeping you might want to reconsider your team build.

EDIT - Also, how did 90% get dealt to Salamence? The only way I've managed to do in simulation is with 0 IVs in HP and Defence.

Well,
252+ Atk Pure Power Meditite Drain Punch vs. 0 HP / 0- Def Salamence on a critical hit: 271-319 (81.8 - 96.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

It was a crit, remember. Apparently Hasty is its usage nature (because mixed), so I assume that it was mixed.

if it was garchomp then he had either hidden power ghost, dark, or fighting XD

sure you get a 90 bp move, but dat 65 spA

Strange. I keep getting this:
252+ Atk Choice Band Pure Power Meditite Drain Punch vs. 0 HP / 0- Def Salamence on a critical hit: 202-238 (61 - 71.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

From what I can tell, the difference is a critical multiplier. Criticals are 1.5x, right? The number you list makes sense if critical are 2x.

I love the Magby moment: Will-o-Wisp misses, Scrafty uses Crunch, Flame Body activates. Nice nickname on Meditite btw.

Salamence was Roosting when it got hit, so that's probably how it happened.
Edit: ninja'd

Saw a Conkeldurr with Brick Break and Detect...
Fire Blast Aerodactyl...
Delcatty...
Safety Goggles Crobat, which forced a ragequit when Smeagle's Spore failed...

And on the Gold servers, well, let's just say the play is not golden. For example:
This garbage of a monotype battle;
Scrafty sweeping a bad team;
and stuff like Dig Meowstic-F and others.

This one isn't from Gold, but when you bring 5 NU mons plus Diggersby into OU, you're gonna have a bad time, even against Dark Pulse Gengar.

And lastly, we go to the magical land of Doubles, where things can be confusing, for example, turn 1 of this battle.

So many fails while I'm watching Ubers battles. I almost want to say I feel bad for some of the people who lose to these idiots. (OK, I'm an idiot. Judge me.)

Jizzlips: Uses a Mamoswine with EQ on Torterra and a special Shell Bell Chesnaught. He also has a non-mega Mewtwo (and has no other megas to use). He says he'll win but loses anyways.
Nico: Uses Torterra that tries Earthquaking a Chesnaught, and a Darkrai using Shadow Ball. On Mewtwo. Dark Pulse too mainstream? However, I do like how nice he was. ^_^

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ubers-109527534
Sonic: Flareon, Latias, Sawk, and ANOTHER DAMN GRENINJA. *facepalm*
Ash: Zygarde. Like hell it'll be killing ANY Xerneases with its ability.

Eeveeon- He's fine. It's his opponent who I'm looking at.
David- HIS ENTIRE TEAM SUCKS. Pikachu, Lucario, Air Balloon Forretress, Heracross, Gengar, and CHARIZARD. Still Ubers.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ubers-109528450
Yu- Nothing horrid outside of Shadow Ball Lugia/Deoxys-Attack, as well as no Psychic attacks on Deoxys-Attack.
Yuuki- Sludge Bomb Blizzard Darkrai, Life Orb Xerneas (no Geomancy?), Arceus-Poison (OK, for Xerneas sure. But srsly?), Light Screen Kyurem-White

Kuro- Staraptor, Lanturn, Sceptile, Houndoom, Krookodile, AND ANOTHER Fuhunvnj GRENINJA.
Anime- Ambipom, Sylveon, Gardevoir, Ninjask, Scolipede, and (decent) Blaziken but not mega. This isn't OU, idiots. NOTE: turns out it was a baton pass team. Still failed to pass.

EDIT: forgot the last replay FUUUUUCK
