I looooooooove Mario Bros. Lost Levels. It's sadistic fun, that's what it is. I remember the first time I beat 8-4 back on All-Stars for SNES... I was ecstatic at finally having finished it, but then I realized that it started from the beginning again, and was ever HARDER. And yes, I beat that too. Thanks god for All-Stars letting you save.
Anyone remember those 8 special levels in Super Mario World? One was called Tubular or something where the entire level involved you going through it while under the effect of the P-Balloon?
Well, for one I was only like 6-7 when I played it :P It's probably a lot easier now.Why do all of you guys find Lost Levels to be so difficult? Sure, it took me a few tries, but it certainly wasn't overwhelming.
Agreed. Those levels gave you a run for your money. I never did beat all the hard levels though, I just got SO tired of them.

Fire Emblem was an awesome game, but really hard for me, because I wouldn't let any of my units die:)

super licenses without a wheel.... oh my GODGran Turismo 3 and 4 are extremely hard in the later races and driving missions. Some of them require fine tuning your car and racing it for 3 hours straight, going to pit stops etc. All it takes is for you to screw up once and you're last since the computer follows a near-perfect racing line. It's borderline impossible to get 100% completion on those games.
Hell even the Driving License tests can be pretty frustrating.
Learn to wavedash. :naughty:Super Smash Brothers: Melee.
After 67 tries, i finally beat All-Star on Very Hard mode. I'm pretty good at the game, and even on off days i can beat Classic/Adventure VH without losing a stock, but dear christ. I dont know if its me, the no recovery, the game, or what.
That was hands down the most grueling moment of my life.
