On the topic of female vs. non female players, let's put it this way. Females are like a jar of marbles. You have the glass ones that are fragile and treated in any other way than delicately, next you have the plastic marbles. These marbles don't give a shit about what you do with them or how you treat them. They're there just to have a good time and put a few dents in the other marbles while they're at it. And lastly, we have the fluffy marbles. They aren't marbles, they're puffballs. They take up room in the jar trying to look like a marble, and only confuse the people looking into the jar. Don't trust puffballs.

Good suggestion as far as easy breeds, but another easy one would be Eevee :) Tons of options, tons of possible spreads.. it's not too hard.

I don't like when people use the excuse of "I play or watch this simply because of blood and gore" either, so -

Play games because they're good, don't play games just to be "edgy".

Also, I don't agree with anything you said in your analogy about "females" because I'm not a static "female". I'll go beat up my husband one day and the next I'd like to be a prim and proper couple, the next I'll be battling my husband while he's taking a gigantic poop. I don't really care, what it really boils down to is - "Everything in moderation" and "There's a time and place for everything."

And this conversation is entirely irrelevant to SQSR, so I'm sorry. That's said and done.

As far as Eevee, that's a good second step if they're completely new. If they're wanting to do females and account for different balls and chaining egg moves (via Smeagle or via Eevees since that's easier now), then the female gender rate would be a little annoying.

I often have geometric helices or a so-called creepy man as my avatar (or this one). BriarRose on the other hand is overly girly and due to that they probably just think it's a guy. That or because everyone just defaults to the male term because it's the most likely option.

As for a simple breeding project start with Magikarp!

Lol I misread one of your posts. You were replying to DarkMoilotic and she had said "everyone thinks I'm a guy, whyyyy" I thought you had said it which was why I included you. Sorry for the mispost. Also sorry for being off topic so much. Everyone.


Anyone have a lure ball magikarp? With little to no good ivs?

I'm back, kinda, after finally accepting the loss of my previous computer - well, I'm not through yet... I guess my previous computer decided to start having a faulty "display driver" and kept freezing (sort of) on me. Now it won't even "turn on" - it turns on, but has a blank, black screen. So, now I'm back to my old computer that takes literally 10 minutes to turn on...

Anyway, putting my frustrations aside (actually, I think I'm just going to put that in a hide tag and keep this message here)...

I've been breeding Clauncher, chaining its egg moves, and am undecided for the nature. The "standard" set is Modest, but the speed is so slow I see merit in a Trick Room spread. Sure, 59 base speed is ~eh~, but is that "slow" enough? Truthfully, I'm not a competitive player - in fact, I don't even raise anything I breed. I just like breeding and putting egg moves (and fancy balls) on 'mons.

Anyway, is 59 speed reason enough to breed a Trick Room spread, with a Quiet nature?

Yep, Modest and Quiet are actually preferred.
 
Best nature or set to run on the Tanabata moonblast Jirachi? Possibly go special timid/modest with MB, FC, and something else? At least you'll have coverage for dark, dragon and fighting now

Thanks for the advice but I already done that. Even joined the #mentor channel on IRC but it's very dead during some times.
 
I'm breeding a certain egg move from a Gothita(male) onto a Smochum(female).
Although, when I talk to the day-care man, he says they rather play with other Pokemon in the day-care.

Would me not being the OT of the Smoochum cause this? Because they are both in the human-like egg group.

Edit: no prob $teele (All Baby Pokemon are in the Undiscovered Egg Group, which means in XY, when you find one in the wild, it's guaranteed 3ivs. THE MORE YOU KNOW)
 
What is the most efficient way for leveling up your pokemon?
and some viable (or fun) alternatives?
Please exclude Rare Candy/E4 grind!

Restaurants are the way I like to do it. 2-3 run in the three star lvls up 5 Pokemon to lvl 50ish if you do a Rotation Battles.
Or you could put 2 pokes in the day-care, stick a piece of cardboard under the move/wheel/circle thing on your DS, and let you character run around in Lumiose :P

or you can stick a penny in the circle pad. You also can battle your rival and elite four. And if you raise your pokemon in daycare you may as well breed for stuff to.

Battle the Furisode Girls in the Battle Chateau, each of them has 2-3 Level 35-45 Audinos. Usually gets you there if you can find a couple of them (though they don't always show up).
 
Alright, after successfully breeding a perfect 5 IV female totodile in a dive ball, I thought that I would share with you guys ^_^ (plus, I just got back from vaca... And it's been awhile since my last giveaway...). Anyways, I have 3 perfectly good spitback female totodiles in diveballs with 4 egg moves (I actually have 6 females, I'm just waiting for a later event to give those other three out ;). To get one, you must deposit a bunnelby in the GTS, asking for a female totodile. In the description, put YOUR smogon username. Once you have deposited the bunnelby, post on my profile saying you have done so. I will not be giving away more than those 3, so first come first serve :3.

I was also doing a breeding project to get a perfect female cyndaquil in a repeat ball, and I was gonna do a giveaway with those spitback females I got. But I (unfortunately?) got a 6 IV female on the first egg :(.
