Isn't that OMotM? (O did this month just happen to be a throwback idea)Old gen metagames are eligible for implementation through Pokemon Throwback. Next month's voting is about to start, but the following month may be a good time to try.

No, it's a different system that's similar to OMotM but is different in what you vote for. Click the link for more info.Isn't that OMotM? (O did this month just happen to be a throwback idea)
In hackmons, pokemon may start out as megas, they may have any more and any ability, while in ubers they must have their designated moves and abilities.whats the difference between ubers and hackmons now just wondering I can't tell much difference
I worded it wrong whats the different between balanced hackmons and ubersIn hackmons, pokemon may start out as megas, they may have any more and any ability, while in ubers they must have their designated moves and abilities.

That is not something up for discussion. I wish you luck in becoming OM leader.
Another point I'd like to add is that every OM has a group of supporters. Does this mean every OM should have a ladder? Hell no.
If you don't want to discuss the Hackmons metagame, I'm just going to lock this thread.
There's countless strategies in Hackmons. Probably more than any other tier combined because of the variability in combinations for teams. Literally any pokemon can have any item, move, and ability.I suppose classic hackmons revolving around Wonder Guard, can be used as an argument that too few strategies are viable to need a ladder.
In that case I'd gauge community interest for unrated.

lando gets trapped kinda easyWhen the change to hackmons was released, I noticed that teambuilding and the whole meta would change. I did my best to make a team which i think is half decent.

I've used Wonder Guard Landorus before, and don't get me wrong, it's a good set, but you still have some problems with Sheer Cold. Sheer Cold is tricky because Landorus is weak to it, so if someone Gastro Acid's Spiritomb (maybe on the switch or something), then you have to sacrifice something to Sheer Cold. However, Landorus is great for walling the Huge Power MMXs running around, as they often don't have Ice or Water coverage. When the change to hackmons was released, I noticed that teambuilding and the whole meta would change. I did my best to make a team which i think is half decent.

If it Thunder Waves the Tagger on the switch, it doesn't matter too much. Also, Magic Coat lets you play fun mind games with the opposing trapper and Encore. However, it's not quite reliable, as one mispredict costs you the game potentially.lando gets trapped kinda easy
What she does is she uses Substitute until she's low enough on health to guarantee a Destiny Bond kill. It also helps with the mind games.also substitute on aegilash is pointless imo if you dont have curse or baton pass
Yeah, but from my experience, once the opponent realizes you don't have curse or bp, it's kinda obvious and they usually switch or try to put it asleep(esp if you constantly sub, also seems sorta limited in purpose...except gaining moment and phasing out bouncers through parting shot I guess). What she does is she uses Substitute until she's low enough on health to guarantee a Destiny Bond kill. It also helps with the mind games.
I generally play stall with like one nuke, so I have recovery on everything. Wishes are hard for me in Hackmons due to the fact that people will almost always attack the turn after you used Wish, and generally you're passing the Wish to a low health Pokemon. I prefer to just bring it in at a good time and use my recovery move.Unrelated, but how do some people survive w/o wish support? I never can.
You can just run shed shell :P(if you mean shadow tag Aerodactyl-Mega).Yeah, and damaged Wonder Guarders are typically the best choices (though Magic Bounce works too). Prankster is necessary too in case you go up against Aero.
True, although that would mean Knock Off vulnerability. Personally, I think running Shadow Tag yourself would be nice, as many variants of MM2X have no super effective moves against you. Sticky Web works to slow 'em down too if you're hoping for the KO with Perish Song. You can just run shed shell :P(if you mean shadow tag Aerodactyl-Mega).

BEcause by taking out the EV limit and Team Preview, it stopped following in-game rules, and like Custom Battle became a challenge-only formatSorry, but I'm not sure where the original thread about this issue is. But....why the fuck isn't Hackmons on the ladder anymore?
