They can run both, Jolly is useful for outspeeding neutral natured base 100s, while Adamant is for better wallbreaking.
Um, no? Jolly Mega Heracross has 273 speed, Jolly base Heracross has 295, Modest Mega Gard and Adamant Char-X has 299.

Do Mega Heracross run Adamant or Jolly? Should I run Jolly just to outspeed D-nite and Altaria, but they both run Adamant/Modest anyway...
Jolly is better as it forces Mew, Gliscor, and other checks to speed creep you more taking away from other possible investment elsewhere.

Where can i see the usage's stats of Showdown? I want to check the percentage of items used for Absol (sorry bed englando)

Already know i have to use Absolite i want to check what dumb people uses

I'm curious since this particular Pokémon is being brought up so much in the VR thread; but what exactly is Noivern's niche in OU supposed to be? A fast dragon-type is now outdone completely by Mega Sceptile, it's very weak, and the only thing I can really think of is a fast taunt and switcheroo but I find that to be done better by various trickscarfers. I'd honestly want a very good answer to this because it just doesn't seem useful in the slightest.

Good coverage options outside of Draco Meteor, Infiltrator, and Taunt and maybe U-Turn are its niches. Oh yeah, very fast for a non-Mega. Very small niches but has some useful applications on specific teams, although it's hyped way too much in that thread.

I wouldn't say it's completely outdone by Sceptile because of its different typing and movepool, Noivern has Draco Meteor, Flamethrower, Hurricane and some other options. Infiltrator lets it screw over stuff behind a sub and on top of that it can stallbreak decently well with Taunt + Super Fang + Roost, but other than that I really don't know why it's been brought up a lot recently, it does sound fairly overrated

"Magic Guard prevents indirect damage, such as from weather conditions, poison, Curse, and Leech Seed, but it does not stop them from being induced. Additional effects, such as trapping from moves like Fire Spin and Attack reduction from aburn, are not prevented."
According to Bulbapedia, it doesn't stop Magma Storm damage
I think it's saying it doesn't stop the trapping effect, as in the ability to switch out, but the damage itself is nullified (given the reference to burn's effect).

That'd make more sense tbh because I couldn't see the logic in it stopping Leech Seed or Curse damage, but not Fire Spin / Magma Storm trapping damage

Well I'm running a Mega Heracross on a rain team since I wanted to try it out. What would you suggest though?
Both options are fine. Personally, I like running Adamant as on a rain team, you want Mega Heracross to break down as many walls as possible, and Adamant already outspeeds most troublesome mons to rain teams such as Ferrothorn and Rotom-W.

Double posting, but whatever.
Anyways, what are the best evs for AV Torn-T? 216 speed outspeeds scarf ttar, but it loses out on mons such as adamant mlop. Running a set of hurricane / superpower / knock off / u-turn/

Is there any merit for a mixed Zard X, even if only as a lure? I've noticed that despite its decent 130 unboosted SpA, it's only ever used physically.
The reason is Tough Claws, which basically gives it a free life orb with no recoil on contact moves, which most of the time are physical. Also it has access to dragon dance, and iirc no way of boosting it's special attack. Also I'm not really sure what mixed really hits.

edit: do I really type that slow
got ninjad by 3 people

Tornadus-Therian @ Assault Vest
EVs: 132 HP / 76 Atk / 48 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Hurricane
- Superpower
- Knock Off
- U-turn

Max speed, regular bulk number, Superpower OHKOs Scarf TTar, leftovers in Special Attack.

Is Surf an acceptable option for Specs Keldeo? Or should I just go with Scald (if I want reliability) or Hydro Miss (if I want power) instead of just settling for the middle ground between the two?

Scald is a necessity for the reliability and the 100% 30% burn chance and Hydro Pump is important to break through bulky Pokemon like Clefable. It's really not worth using surf at all imo.

Okay so I've been playing Showdown for 2 years and some months and I still don't understand some things.

What does it mean when a Pokemon is passive? What does it mean when a Pokemon kills momentum, and how do things such as healing/defogging/spinning/etc. make you lose momentum?
