Tournament BLT Group Stages: Week 3

Sorry to bring this up again guys, I wasn't serious about that >_< but was this not a foregone conclusion? Let me use my game vs metaphysical as an example, as it's the most recent haxy game I know. It's a semi big tournament and your team is counting on you, it's all down to your skill at playing. Then your opponent gets a 10% Spdef drop and wins an almost certainly lost game. Salt is going to happen in any game that's competitive and also has RNG and when people are counting on you. Would you expect anybody to not be slightly pissed just in general after that? I mean, before you call people sad, honestly, what did you expect?

There is nothing wrong with being mad after being haxed, but is it necessary to make multiple post about it? Especially when several people just explained that hax are apart of the game. Yes it's unfortunate, but you can't do anything about it. Complaining now is pointless.
 
I'm pretty sure the worst you should do is say "unlucky" or "haxy game" at most.

Anything else is just irrelevant as you can't control that shit, as HeiDoe's favourite user Laurel says no one gives a fuck or something to that effect

You can't control it man, and if your team gets angry, then w/e, they're just being stupid.

Don't even worry about AP tests, they're too fucking easy. Unless you're taking econ, then you should worry. They aren't designed to test your knowledge, they're made to test your test taking skills bud.

I don't think it matters if you are serious or not, you made multiple post about it, you can see that everyone is a little sensitive about hax atm. So making post talking about you get haxed or how lucky another team is probably not appreciated atm.

Just gonna say I wouldn't really care about being haxed by DeG or anyone else cos I accept that when I play Pokemon its a luck based game, however one thing I am kinda disappointed at is how the substitutes system has been so abused in this tour. Megazard made a great point about it earlier, but this tour is supposed to be a competition between the best and most dedicated players of the tours room, and yet people are being subbed in who probably enter tours in the room once in a blue moon. This probably sounds strange coming from me because I was our teams "unqualified" player, but I played because I knew there was interest in me playing from my tours performances and Swirl picked me up and asked me to play which I was only too happy to do. Now it's just getting stupid as its not really a tour for the PS room anymore, more a tour for friends of managers.

Also me and deg will probably play sometime this weekend

To build on this I think that in future installments of BLT, the teams should be allowed to draft two subs on draft day but with the caveat that the players selected have at minimum amount of points.
Anyone who heard me rant in the room in the hours prior to the draft knows that I was pushing for a snake draft as well. It makes sense in a fantasy setting, which is what this is, as it allows some balance in the draft picks. BLT has great potential and with these changes, I firmly believe that future installments will go over quite smoothy.

I do wish we had a better system for subs. Unfortunately there isn't much we can do if a player goes missing or pulls out, aka sand.

I was a last minute call. Didn't know this was a thing yet until Acast told me about this tour thanks to battling him via ladder and asked me if I can play for the Luxrays. Then yeah I accepted his offer.

But hey, I thank him for offering me this kind of opportunity. Not only did I meet new people, but also battled with good players. :]
