^That's the hidden power part of the breeding guide. It should be able to answer all your questions on the subject.
how do you breed hidden power?
Metal Claw could definitely work if you feel lucky enough, and is only 5 base power less than Iron Head after Technician. Fury Cutter is really crappy, though, due to the fact that by the time you get enough base power, you'll probably have to switch out because your opponent has switched to a counter.Would Fury Cutter/Metal Claw be good on a Tanking Lefties Swords Dance Scizor?
For question #1 I think it hits the target but I'm not sure.For Question #2 It uses the target's move on them.So in that scenario you would use the pokemon going third's on the pokemon going third.Okay, I've two (probably stupid) questions, one concerning Pursuit, the other Me First, both in doubles.
First off, if I'm not mistaken, does Pursuit just hit the opponent's pokemon which switches out, not the actual target in a double battle (for example, if I had a Heracross out, and they had a Slowbro and a Gliscor, and I tried to use Pursuit on Slowbro but the opponent left Slowbro in and switched out Gliscor, Pursuit would hit Gliscor instead of Slowbro, even though I selected Slowbro to attack)? I ran into this once in a battle, but I'm not sure if it was just the opponent choosing the wrong pokemon to attack.
But anyway, if the previous is true, then how does Pursuit work if both the opponents switch out? Does it hit the faster pokemon, or just the one you targeted? And if you use Pursuit the same turn you switch your partner out, could you hit him?
My second question concerns Me First, which, truth be told, I've never gotten to use. I know you must be faster than the opponent for the move to work, but how does that work with multiple targets? For example, let's say I had a Me First Lucario with a Choice Scarf out, for whatever reason, I select one of the opponent's pokemon, and use Me First. Will it always copy the move that pokemon was going to use, or is it based on speed (such as if that pokemon was to go, say, third, with Lucario being first, would I use the attack of the pokemon going second?)? Also, if I wanted to do something like, say, boost a Draco Meteor off of my partner Flygon, could I do that without hitting Flygon?
What I mean is, when you use Me First, can you actively choose who's move you want to copy and which pokemon you wish to target (say, Me Firsting a Thunderbolt off of your partner Gengar to hit the opponent's Vaporeon), or do you have no control over which move you Me First and use it against whatever you target or whatever you get the move from (perhaps I'm not putting this clearly...)?
Also, does anyone know what happens if you lose to Dialga or Palkia in-game?
Could Cresselia,Milotic, and Blissey all be usable on the same team? If so, If I use a sleep-inducing Milotic, what would be goodsets for Bliss and Cress?
what is the probability of getting the nature you want without the everstone trick?
I know this makes me sound like a total noob so he it is. What is Shoody Battle?
'kay, so this has confused me forever.
I'm breeding a bunch of Tyrogue to evolve into Hitmontop. But I keep seeing that its Attack and Defense need to be the exact same for this to happen.
Does this mean IVs, or the actual stats? O_o;
Actual stats.
And yes, it's a pain to get a Hitmontop, lol.
If I transfer an Electrike with Lightning Rod over to Diamond, would it have a chance of switching abilities when it evolves? Or does this only work with Pokemon who have a new ability in D/P?
Also, what does Dive Ball do in D/P? Does it work just like an ordinary Poke'ball or does it have a special effect?
