In previous generation you save for the daycare man to receive the egg and then RNG it. So I think in previous gens it is when you receive the egg.

Nidorina + Nidoqueen can not produce eggs ever. Nidorino and Nidoking can with Ditto.

It seems strange to me too, but I can't tell you why the game developers decided to do this. It has been like this since Gen II though.
another thing to keep in mind when breeding is to note what the day care lad has to say about your pokemon. when you get the message that "theyd prefer to play with other pokemon than each other", that means they are incompatible to breed. that should save you some wasted time on the bicycle in the future
Best place to level up in ORAS? Need to be able to level up breeding parents more than once a day so this in addition to Blissey bases. Usually use hordes in Victory Road in X/Y but the Aron combination of Sturdy + Protect + Roar in ORAS is driving me crazy even with a Mold Breaker lead mon.
The Elite Four is always a good option. Way higher levels than the Wild Pokemon in Victory Road. Then again, you'll need to use spots meant for potential leveling up Pokemon on a couple of good Pokemon that can easily deal with the E4 and Champion.
If you're not doing this already, it's possible to battle all the Blissey trainers twice a day by inviting them to your Secret Base and battling them there.
Hadn't considered E4 so it is an option but like you say those extra spots could be put to better use. I'm usually leveling up Pickup mons at the same time plus I usually use PKRS so being stuck part way through E4 when all are leveled up enough or it's about to hit midnight could be difficult. Might reserve E4 for leveling Aerodactyl up seeing as you've got to reach lev 82 before breeding.
Sky Pillar might work; can't think of anywhere else with high enough level horde mons. Shame there's not a Pokecentre nearby though.
Hadn't realised that, just started shifting breeding operations to ORAS so I can SR my X/Y events as I'm over 980 hours and I'm not as comfortable with the helpful shortcuts there yet. Thanks for the tip :)

Nature: Quiet
IVS: 31/x/31/31/31/31
So the mom at least would be a female Amoonguss with the HA, and the male could be an Amoonguss or Ditto with a Quiet nature (both flawless). Please PM me if you can trade me the parents, much appreciated. I need it to build a VGC team.

What I don't understand is why you're running a -Spe nature if you don't care about Atk. I mean I kno there's some weird reason -Spe is good on Amoonguss, since going second guarantees the foe will be asleep at least a turn or w/e, but if you want low Spe why the 31 IV? More power Quiet isn't that good a nature-Relaxed is typically bettr despite Amoonguss having lower Def than SpA.
What I'd do is ignore Spe, and shoot for 31/0/31+/31/31/X.
Anyways, I hope that's either helpful or you have some interesting reasoning for your set.
