I mean I guess this might be worth using in Trick Room in the Doubles metagames? Otherwise, I'm sick of these bulky Ice types (and this one isnt that bulky either). At least it has a good offensive typing however.

Pretty sure this is meant to be a big old wall breaker like Mega Abomasnow. And while we're at it, there better have been a Hail Buff this gen with all these ice someone is getting snapped :/

why does gamefreak keep doing this

why do they think slow ice types are a good idea

especially slow ice types with no priority. Though it does have a great offensive typing and massive attack, the low speed and modest defenses do it no favors.
Let's look o the brightside

its an offensive ice type? That they then made extremely slow and frail....

It also don't get drain punch, wich would be really cool recovery compared with iron fist.
Very true. Although... if Gen 4 remakes are a thing, it might get Knock Off / Drain Punch via tutor.
Remember how Pangoro shot up the tiers when IT got access to those two moves?

Unless Crabhammer and Ice Hammer get the boost from Iron Fist now, Hyper Cutter is going to be better.

Chances are it's going to run Choice Band, Life Orb or a different Attack-boosting item exclusively unless Move Tutors give it some rad coverage. The lack of priority is a crying shame.

Seriously. Why couldn't it at least keep it's pre-evo speed?

Because the lower form gets it.

E: And if everything is slow as dirt, why complain about it being slow? Save that for January when the old-heads come back.
There are already a lot of old-heads in the games, and most alolan Pokémon being so slow lowers the incensitive of playing them while you could just go with the old ones and be faster than your opponents

Some of you may already know, but it seems that many of these Pokémon were created for in-game purposes, rather than competitive battling. It doesn't help that Game Freak hates Ice-types (not from Sinnoh), either. Crabomniable is one of them.
