Bl Isn't really a tier, and there is no metagame for it on smogon.
Ambipom is a pretty decent lead, stab technician life orb/silk scarf fake out
followed by a u-turn
is pretty nice with 100 att and 115 speed

Kind of a dumb one I should know, but since I never bothered training while they had it...

When a Pokemon has had Pokerus, and you use a Power item, how many EVs are they gaining? Is it (1+4)X 2 or (1X2)+4, with 1 being the base EV gained, 4 being the additional amount the Power item gives, and the X2 being the doubling amount of Pokerus?

Have there been any negative reprocussions reported from attempting GTS cloning? Or is it generally safe like Emerald cloning?

What is the easiest way to figure out the specific HP type? I find IV battles pretty annoying (my wifi is pretty screwed up atm) so I can't really check IVs for it. And I'm too lazy to level up my Poke to level 100 through Rarecandies to check.

Kecleon. No idea where they are in D/P but in RSE, there's a Beauty Jessica on Route 121 who leads with a Kecleon.

Whats better to have on Electivire?

Brick Break or Cross Chop?

I know, I see almost everyone with Cross Chop (EarthQuake to kill practically anything, ThunderPunch for Physical Stab, Ice Punch for problematic Dragons, and Cross Chop for that annoying Blissey), but....

Brick Break is only 25 Base Weaker, and 100% accurate, while Cross Chop is only 80% Accurate.

What do you people advice?

Brick Break
Base Power: 75
Accuracy: 100

Cross Chop
Base Power: 100
Accuracy: 80

let's pretend we use both attacks 10 times

Brick Break - 100% accuracy = 75 x 10 = 750

Cross Chop - 80% accuracy = 100 x 8 = 800 (plus it has crit hit+1)

use Cross Chop

Damage is not calculated like that. Still, I think CC would do more damage thang BB. BB has the added effect of ridding the field of Jirachi's screens, though.

CH just isn't reliable.

i play with item clause, and i need something to put on my yawnpassing Jolteon besides Leftovers (blissey has it), so i figure a pinch berry is best

should i use petaya or salac?

rest of team is

gyarados
blissey
skarmory
breloom
starmie

if i have say, a rapid spinning Starmie, ev trained and all, and i want to switch it to a choice specs version, if it's LV 99, and i use berries, and re-ev train it, will it have the proper stats? or is there a level cutoff for when u can switch the ev's around?

Hi, I'm new to the forums, and I was wondering, are the items such as the Macho Brace, and the "power" items from the battle park worth using when EV training, even though they lower speed?

Yes, the speed drop is only in battle, it doesn't actually lower your base stat and such if that's what your thinking.

They only reduce speed by 2 while they are being held. The effect wears off when it's unattached.
