no I know that, I'm just wondering if it's possible for genesects that weren't from that event to be shiny.
So with advent of Hyper Training, will Pokémon that need 30 IVs to run certain Hidden Powers now be able to run max Speed?
Yes. Hyper Training changes the stat to what it would be if it had a max IV rather than the IV itself.
Been away from semi-meta for a while; is Outrage still relevant? I assume it isn't anymore due to Fairy types being able to switch in but it wouldn't hurt to ask
Pretty much the same mons that used it last gen are using it again, so basically any physical dragons. More faires being around hurts, buts it's the strongest move available to mons like Dnite and Chomp. Zygarde can afford to ignore Outrage now though since Thousand Arrows has godly coverage.
So a 'jump point' is basically part of an EV spread on wherever your positive nature is. For instance, a Jolly user has potential jump points in speed. Most of the time jump points are relevant in defense only because you always want to go faster and are more interested in speed tiers rather than overall speed.
Essentially, the + side of a nature is a 10% increase in the overall stats in that category. They exist because the game keeps track of the decimal place but ROUNDS UP in stats. When you move from 310.4 to 311.5 by adding 4EVs, the EV spread instead gives the mon 312. It's not the biggest thing and is mostly for fine-tuning.

The additional Special Defense boost, access to Smart Strike as a way to deal with the Rock types that walled it before, and some other niche options isn't worth bringing a new thread up for?
No it's not even close to enough.
Fair enough I guess, it's been helpful against the Tapus for the last couple weeks I've been using it so I figured it'd be worth a thread at the very least.
Could we make a thread about Gluttony Recycle Snorlax? It got a pseudo Recovery move. It being a very offensive "Blissey" could be an interesting option in OU.
Again no. If it didn't get 2% or more usage in the November postbank stats I'm not even going to consider greenlighting an individual mon thead for a buffed mon. And even if such an old mon did get more than 2% usage and was buffed I would still need to be PMed for approval.
On the topic of threads being made, when will the Viability Rankings thread be made so I can pick 6 from A+ tier when teambuilding?

Would a support set with, say, Terrain Extender be viable for any of the Guardian deities? Personally I think Tapu Fini would be the best user of such a set, but Koko could also it use to support Raichu-A.
The metagame needs to be more settled first, but here are the usage stats to give you an idea of whats viable and being used.
It could work but considering how quickly terrains switch its kind of a waste of an item. Lele and Bulu would both like to have choice band/ specs, fini needs leftovers for recovery and koko would prefer life orb. Not saying it can't work, you just need to keep terrain wars in mind.
Flygon is pretty bad imo even with dd but if you really wanna use it id go jolly to outspeed Scarf genesect at +1. If thats not an issue, adamant still outspeeds non scarf pheromosa at +1
I don't really know if this is the correct place to ask, but when will we see Gastrodon's East Sea forme get its model and animations in Showdown, especially since this is the only forme that lives in the Alola Region? Right now, we simply have a 2D sprite.
Once the metagame settles in a few months, is the OU tiering council considering a retest of any of the following?
Darkrai (due to Dark Void being nerfed to 50%), Deoxys-S (Due to Pheromosa and the Power Creep), Deoxys-D (Due to the Power Creep), Mega Kangaskhan (Due to the Parental Bond nerf),and the item Soul Dew (due to its boost being decreased from a 50% boost to Latios and Latias to only 20%)
