One question just out of curiosity...

What's the deal with the popularity of joint threads now? I see like 2 new joint threads started everyday. >_>

I'm guessing most people want to form joint threads because one of the partners (usually) has the ability to clone and that they can get more pokemon overall by having more pokemon to offer.

Good point, I might need a cloner in a future partnership too.
 
Actually..I've seen partnerships where neither can clone or both can clone.

E.g. Yggdra+Kageru and SMOS+Katashi

I think its mainly because they all realized the benefits of having a partnership. Like getting more offers and stuff.
 
Oh yes, and if I'm looking for pokemon and don't care if it's (legitly) hacked or not, but have nothing really worthwile to give in return, can I still make a topic in the Wi-Fi thread, or should I just go somewhere like GFAQs?

I'd go to GameFAQ's..
People here only like legit pokemon and nice IV bred pokemon..

If you like to breed you can always try to get some nice ones and then open a thread later on :)
 
If I have these two parents: Modest (everstone) female Bulbasaur with x/x/x/31/31/31 and male Bulbasaur with x/x/x/31/31/x, what is the possibility that I'll have a Modest offspring with x/x/x/31/31/31?

Cresselia works decently and is an overall handy Pokemon to have, Bronzong can do, Dusknoir and Spiritomb can run RestTalk, as can Zapdos and Heatran, Magnezone, Rhyperior, and probably a bunch of other things I'm missing. There's a lot of options.

There are some base 30 Speed Pokemon that Snorlax might want to outspeed, like Steelix or Slowbro, but generally Speed is your least consideration on a Snorlax.

I think it's level 25.

Now, my question: Does someone who owns a R4/M3/AR can tell me why the cheat file I made isn't being loaded by the game? I did the same thing I always did; used the Cheat editor, saved in the R4 cart, but the rom isn't showing the Cloning and Teleport Code I inputted (sp?).

The R4 Cheat editor is really, really, really buggy. Sometimes it doesn't even save the code u inputted -.-'
 
2 questions:

1. Can Stun Spore paralyze Ground types?
2. I might buy Emerald but is it worth it? How long does the playthrough take (considering that I only have like 2 hours a week to play)?

Yes. Thunder Wave doesn't work on Garchomp and friends simply because it's an Electric move, not because of the effect itself.
 
If you have a substitute up and you use counter will it deal twice the hp of the substitute or twice the damage that would have actually been dealt if there had been no sub?

This is probably one that has been asked before, but how does transferring RSE Pokemon to DP work? I mean the ones that have new abilities in DP.

And what was the deal about Clefairy needing to be bred in Emerald?
