Seems kinda pointless to me. Even with a 120 powered avalanche, 10 base attack isn't fun.

Its a nice and unique set except I loled when I saw Avalanche in there. No, Blissey can't and never will be able to use anything physical aside from Sesmic toss. Give it bold and put in Ice beam over avalanche. needs to transfer attack evs into special attack

As my unique set, its not really "new" but is a unique extension

Chainchomp- Life orb- Naughty/ Rash(to guarantee ohko on gyra

252 special attack, 240 speed, 18 attack.

Draco meteor
FB
EQ
Hidden Power electric( to kill gyrados)

Uberly weird but just thought about this...

Lucario @ Life Orb
EVs: 216 S.atk, 252 Speed, 42 HP/Attack
Timid/Naive nature
-Vacuum Wave
-Dark Pulse/HP Ice
-Roar
-Copycat

EVs ensures a OHKO against Weavile using Vacuum Wave and will do at least 53% in 252/0 Tyranitar. Many People keep Weavile against Lucario thinking it can outspeed and OHKO with Brick Break. So this kinda surprises Weavile users.
Now there's the second surprise, you set up Spikes, Rocks or Toxic Spikes or any combination of these and wanna enjoy them? Simple! Bring Lucario into something that will run from it, you use Roar and yet another Pokémon is sent out, then in the other turn, if Lucario is still faster, you can use Copycat to mimic the last move used in battle, which was Roar, making opponent switch again. If a sleeping Pokémon is sent when you used Copycat, lucky you! You can Roar again and then Copycat the Roar once again! Copycat has also some nifty surprises.
Salamence KOed one of your Pokémon with Draco Meteor? Copycat it, you're faster than SpecsMence then OHKO it (or hurt anything that come after it if Mence switches).
Electivire's Earthquaked scored a Critical hit against your Metagross? Use Naive and move the HP EVs into attack to copycat it for revenge!

The possibilities for Copycat are infinite, and I think this can work somehow. It can also be based on physical attacks using Close Combat and Crunch... or maybe other attacks >_< Having just two moves to use really limits you, but it's better than nothing.

Flamethrower/ Fire Blast

blissey...? whats creative about blissey and physical is kinda a long stretch

Lucario @ Chios scarf
-me first
-blaze kick
-flash cannon
-close combat or aura sphere
252 speed or enough (if you kno what i mean)
then the rest in attacks or in the defense you chose to put down
rash naive mild naughty

with choice scarf this can be fun to use and of course he has stab moves and blaze kick for type coverage. i used it on shoddy its fun.

I posted these in the pre-evos thread, so I just decided to post them here.

Anorith(♂) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Battle Armor
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Speed
Adamant Nature (+Atk/-Sp.Atk)
- Rock Slide/Stone Edge
- X-Scissor
- Cross Poison
- Brick Break

CS Anorith. It has a higher base speed than Armaldo without the scarf, and its got a decent Attack stat to boot.

Munchlax(♂) @ Choice Band
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk/200 Sp.Def/58 HP
Brave Nature (+Atk/-Spd)
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Return
- Zen Headbutt

CBMunchlax. This thing is the speediest thing to hit Trick Room teams. Ties with Shuckle, perhaps, that's about it. Its Attack stat can actually be used for this. And mine survived an Earthquake from a Torterra in the Battle Tower, so this has gotta be worth SOMETHING.

Muk @ Leftovers
-Focus Punch
-Substitute
-Fire Blast
-Shadow Punch/Shadow Sneak/Shadow Ball/Toxic

MukBOAH.

NO!! that's my mukboah. use dark pulse or shadow ball for the last slot, don't use the other ones. this think counters tyranoboah to no end. takes less than 25% from dark pulse then subs and kicks ass. BTW, how do you have it EV'd

I don't have EV's yet. And I like Toxic in EVERY sub-puncher because of Dusknoir and Cresselia. Of course Shadow Punch seems like the best option because of it's huge attack.

The EVs are probably to have 404 HP and enough speed to out-speed Blissey.

I prefer a more defensive spread for Muk. Brave Nature is the key here, his SpAtt is high enough for Fire Blast. Or you can use Naughty/Lonely if you want to outspeed things.

212 HP EV is enough to get 404 HP, maybe throw a little into attack to boost the Focus Punch and Ghost moves, 48 EV is enough to guarantee a 2HKO on Azelf and Alakazam with Shadow Sneak IIRC. 116 SpAtt EV guarantees a 2HKO on Skarm with Fire Blast.

So you are looking at 212 HP / 48 Att / 116 SpAtt / 132 Speed with Naughty / Lonely nature. Brave can throw some more into defences. Slower Muks are great for Trick Room teams.

This, MixMortar in the other thread, and etc. make me happy that I read Smogon. Seriously, these sets are gold. Good job.

You are GOD! Do you have calcs on Gengar?

EDIT: It needs EVs on Speed to be faster than Weezing(base 60) and Blissey(base 55) so that it doesn't get statused by WoW or T-wave.

Well I was kidding guys. And heres another one.

Clefable@ Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Magic Guard
EV's: 252 Attack, 252 HP
Meteor Mash
Softboiled
Substitute
Reflect/ Light Screen

Dragonite (M) @ Apicot Berry
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 28 HP / 168 Atk / 176 Spd / 136 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Substitute
- Outrage/Dragon Claw
- Roost

Originally designed by Fear, somewhat novelty but i've been trying it as of late and its been working wonders for me on Shoddy. Substitute down till you reach the Apicot Berry boost and then alternate between Roost and Sub to wear out you opponents Ice Beam PP then proceed to sweep with DDance and Outrage or Dragon Claw.

Evs Generate 270 Special Defence and 330 Hp. Standard Cresselia Ice Beam does 56%-66% with this spread and 28%-33% after the Roost, after the Apicot Boost these numbers change to 38%-45% and 19%-22%(wouldn't even break a sub if you Roosted with it up)

Once again it does look somewhat novelty but i think it warrants some discussion in comparison to some of the things i've seen in this thread :P

Fire Blast over SUb maybe skarmory stills block you well Heatran resist Dragon and gets fire boost from Flash Fire. SteelPokemon är common.

Sub is the whole novelty part of the set. With a fire move over sub its just the DD set; this set is trying to waste the opponents ice/rock move pp. The set either has to stay like this and not be able to deal with steels/phazers that can take an outrage, or it has to drop DD.

Without DD, it might actually be cool to see if this could set up Salamence or Garchomp - you waste the pp of the move that would normally be used to KO Chomp or Mence using this Dragonite set, you get some hits in, and maybe weaken their steel with whichever fire move you choose. Then you bring in the other Dragon and DD/SD up for the sweep.

Of course, most teams will have more than one move to stop the OU dragons because they're such fearesome sweepers, but it could be fun to try...

Time for another episode of Bologo's pull predictions out of the ass movesets.

Today's episode, we feature the wannabe tree...Sudowoodo!

Sudowoodo @Leftovers/Muscle Band/Choice Band
EVs: 212 HP/252 ATK/44 DEF
Ability: Rock Head
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

- Focus Punch
- Sucker Punch
- Stone Edge/Wood Hammer
- Explosion/Block/Wood Hammer

Essentially, the premise of this set is that Sudowoodo can learn the awesome combo of Sucker Punch/Focus Punch which has the types Dark/Fighting therefore great coverage...but also the extra effects of th attacks. If they decide that they want to attack, Sucker Punch hits. If they decide to start setting up Focus Punch hits. Plus if you can tell that they're going to switch out, Focus Punch also hits. Stone Edge is more for things such as Gengar that can ruin your fun by coming in on a Focus Punch and start setting up plus it gets STAB. Wood Hammer works well too for getting rid of the water and ground types that like coming in on Sudowoodo but isn't as good against Gengar who completely counters this set otherwise.

Now, the last slot is entirely dependent on what you want Sudowoodo to do and your item.

With Leftovers, Block is generally a good option since you'll need staying power to deal with the ting you just trapped on their switch-in. If you can make a nice catch by using the right bait such as threatening with Focus Punch to lure in a flying type only to trick the opponent and use Stone Edge on the flying opponent they brought in, then they're in a boatload of trouble. Plus, if you trap something, they're probably not going to wanna set up on you since they wanna get that trap out fast, so Sucker Punch will work very well. But if they do wanna set up, then Focus Punch will teach them.

Wood Hammer gets another mention if you plan to run a Choice Banding set alongside Stone Edge, and as mentioned, hurts shit like Hippowdon or Slowbro that want to come in to end Sudowoodo. Plus no recoil from Rock Head is nice.

Explosion is probably the best bet you have, and it's most recommended with Muscle Band, but you can do it with Choice Band if you want to rely completely on prediction with this set. Once you feel that Sudowoodo has done enough damage, or that he can't really handle much more after the occuring turn, you explode, and it will hurt like hell coming from either a 10% boosted explosion, or a 492 attack from Choice Band.

Ok, so this set obviously requires damn near godly prediction, but it will cause a huge amount of damage if played correctly. Plus, it forces the opponent to predict as well, because if they don't, they're going to get hit hard to moves that basically eliminate the problem of Sudowoodo's awful awful speed.

What are the critics saying about this episode?

OMGWTFBBQ

This another set by me. this is for ape

Infernape@ Life orb, OMGWTFBBQ
Standard mixape EVs and nature
-Fakeout
-U-turn
-Closecombat
-Overheat

The basis fo the name is that when they see him they'll say OMG I'm nape wea! They'll later WTF when they see fakeout, and when nape uses overheat, something will be BBQed.

We've all seen tise joke suggestions on how might ambipom and infernape work together Al goreing (alright, flinch and flee..) the place, but noones ever really bothered putting in a set. this is it.

Fakeout will disable a focs sash and lets you score a free hit. always a bonus, unless your under toxic or something

U-turn makes a fine opetunity to scout a switch, escape a slower foe, and provide as a way of removing some of the bad side effects of the two below moves

Overhet is an extremely poweful move and goes excellently with nape. simply hit hard and U-turn out.

Closecombat is powerful and is even better when the Def drop dueto it is U-turn away.

post? comment?

I think the EV's should be modified from standard. Since 3 of your moves are physical, the EV's should reflect that and focus more on Atk than Sp. Atk. Not only that, you may not even use Overheat, wasting all the investment in Sp. Atk. Fake Out and U-Turn are both definitely going to be used with the premise of the set, and these are both physical, along with Close Combat, you'd get better mileage out of physical Atk. EV's rather than Sp. Atk. EV's.

Also, his physical attacks have a lower BP than his one special attack, so pumping up his Atk. will help in the long run imo.
